Sorry SA been holding my comments for review the past 2 months, sometimes many hours go by when its finally posted, thus i dont post much here any longer.
I wasn't gonna let these shorters fool me, I sold my 10000 shares this morning at 3.92 and rebought back my same shares at 3.72. All this action means is that Q4 is REAL good, they already have all the insider info on actual sales numbers and thus scaring everyone off before the stock goes up to $5.
Nokia (NOK) roundup: 1) UBS has raised its estimates and ASP and margin forecasts on encouraging signs about Lumia demand, but is maintaining a Neutral. The firm expects 4M Lumia shipments in Q4, and 20M in 2013. 2) Amidst reports of supply issues, China's Sohu provides a (somewhat questionable) report that Lumia 920 production only amounts to 20K units/day. Meanwhile, a U.K. retailer claims the Lumia 620 will be ready to ship by the end of January. (earlier) [View news story]
DVL, a wise tip, sell your Apple shares and buy some of that NOK. Apple trending down, NOK trending up, doesn't take a genius to see where things are heading. By the way, you been on vacation or something? Haven't seen you on here for a while, you and that Westkite fella have been missing in action lately.

Don't matter what the news or analysis is, this company and the stock price will go up. The restructuring is turning out well and the company is gaining momentum.
Ford was in the same position 3 years ago, their stock was only $2 and there was much bankruptcy fears, now the company is doing great.
With NOK, you just have to go with your gut instinct and filter out the noise or what some analyst working for Goldman Sachs says.
Microsoft's Windows 8 Is Selling Well: Just Another Reason To Buy [View article]
Windows 8 is actually very good, once you use it, you can never go back to Windows 7. It wilkl take time, but M$ will win out in the end, its Apple that seems to be stagnant in my opinion, I used a Mac Air a couple weeks ago and the OS seemed like it was straight out of the 90's. I don't know what people see in them, maybe its just part of the Hipster fad, eventually that style will die out too just like the Gothic style went out a decade ago.

Don't matter how much profit Nokia makes, this is all a casino game and the shorters are setting people up for a pump n dump. They'll give you all hope than a minute later the stock price drops a dollar and bam, there goes all your money. I've seen them play these games before, be careful!!!
The iPhone 5 (AAPL) launch has once more made iOS the most popular smartphone platform in the U.S, but Europe is a different story. Kantar ComTech believes the iPhone's U.S. smartphone share for the 12 weeks ending Oct. 28 came in at 48.1% - that's up from the year-ago period's 22.4%, and slightly above Android's (GOOG) 46.7%. But in the EU5, the iPhone's share rose only 90 bps Y/Y to 21.2%, while Android's rose 1300 bps to 63.9%. Windows Phone had 4.7% of the EU5 , and 2.7% of the U.S., ahead of the WP8 launches. I got the iphone 5 the first day it came out, best phone I ever had, even sold my GSIII which was my fav at the time. I'm gonna wait for the GSIV to come out in March, that phone is supposed to be a beast. I had the Galaxy Note II for a week and took it back, I felt like a geek holding that big monster.
As of right now, without all the fanboism, the iP5 is best period and this is coming from a guy who gets a new phone every 3 months just to see whats best out there.

It never dropped to 1.50, what will happen is that it'll drop to about 2.60 than spike back up to 2.80 and drop back to 2.70. I've been playing this game the past 6 months, same old story.
The stock market is no longer about actual profitably numbers or long term growth, its all a monopoly game now. Right now the big money is on Apple, so anything that threatens Apple, such as Nokia and Rimm will suffer for the time being until they move on to something else. To be successful in this game, you got to out smart them. Best way to make money on NOK is to buy short term on the dips and sell it as soon as it goes up a 5% and than rebuy on the lower price when it dips again. This is the only strategy that seems to work, hanging out too long will get you eaten by the shorters.

I think your right, I sold all my shares at 3.37. I just don't want to get slaughtered once the shorters are back to their old tricks. On the next big dip, I'm back all in. They'll make up some excuse that BF sales were weak and than the whole stock market tanks next week.
Don't Let The Noisy Negativism Sway You On Nokia [View instapost]
I agree 100%. The stock market is nothing but a ponzi scheme based on lies and insider trading. The only reason Nokia stock is so low is the Apple folks don't want their bubble to pop and thus are trying to short NOK as much as possible to get the competition out of the way.
Nokia is on the way back and so is Microsoft. One thing I've learned the past 20 years being a tech guy is never ever bet against Microsoft. Nokia was smart jumping on Windows Phone instead of that race to the bottom Android where only Copysung can make a profit.
I also think Windows 8 will be successful because it makes computers exciting again, I've been using the RTM version for over a month and can never go back to the old windows.
