  • FDIC: Controversial Deals Create Difficult Environment [View article]
    WaMu was mugged and robbed

One should distinguish between I believe about 20B of debt held by WMB the bank and not repaid -- and about 9B held by WMI and left out to dry

  • Why the FDIC’s Receivership and Fire-Sale of WaMu is a Mess [View instapost]
Thank you for the explanation on that missing list

For all the Yahoo discussion = no one has pointed out (or did so long ago) one possible reason for the missing list - ........... the lack of suitability of the usual whole bank approach

It is encouraging in an indirect way as SB does have an out - especially given the recent testimony on new methods for holding companies

JPM is still getting away with this insult on our democratic system

It is time for the major media - and others here and elsewhere on the net - to push this story to the top of the news

WMI was mugged beaten up and robbed - it does not get any simpler (and it should not matter if WaMu was a player in the old mortgage market)

Push this to the top of the news

  • FHFA Director Lockhart’s Twisted Fannie and Freddie Logic [View article]
So Author = have you - as a public author - asked Lockhart or other officials if your NEW set of assumptions is correct

Why not ask and give us the answer vs keep guessing and most likely making mistakes - vs offering good info.

How can we trust your conclusions if you do not do your homework - and do not ask questions of the GOV instead of consistently putting in assumptions?

  • Fannie and Freddie Shareholders Benefit More than Homeowners [View article]
Why do you say in the article

Borrowers can’t be so strong that their payments are less than 31% or their gross income,

I have never read that anywhere re the FNM FRE side of the BO plan
