I'm thinking about dumping my shares of (SVM) next week, it's getting a little rich. I have a nice gain, don't want to be greedy.

New Tar Sands Technology May Increase Oil Production and Greatly Reduce Costs Per Barrel
    6:00 AM ET 11/17/09

Winning Strategies (winningstrategies.net) Senior Editor Tim Connolly reported today that recent news from Advanced Clean Technologies (Other OTC: ACTH) may actually alter the overall economics of tar sands oil production, in particular throughout Canada and Utah. The major issues that have historically dogged the oil sands production industry are related to the high amount of energy needed to produce oil, and excessive environmental damage due to current production techniques.

Connolly stated, "For many years the principals of Winning Strategies have invested in Canadian energy trusts such as Suncor (NYSE: SU), Harvest Energy Trust (NYSE: HTE), which was recently sold to Korea National Oil Corporation, Pengrowth Energy Trust (NYSE: PGH) and San Juan Basin Royalty Trust (NYSE: SJT), among others. It is our experience that one of the largest obstacles to industry economics is the high cost of tar sands production and the low percentage rates of extraction. IF ACTH can actually produce 99% oil extraction rates as reported last week, while lowering the energy consumption needed for production and minimizing environmental damage, this is a game changer for the industry. This technological breakthrough could mean literally billions of dollars in savings for both the oil industry and consumers in the United States."

The President of Advanced Clean Technologies, Inc. Russell Kidder, announced last week, "Our tests, which utilized our patented, non-hazardous chemical reagents in an ambient temperature environment, were remarkable in that they showed our ability to successfully extract and separate over 99% of the oil residue present in both the Alberta and Utah oil sands samples. We believe that our unique technology provides an extraction rate that is significantly higher than the traditional methods, while at the same time being much more energy efficient and environmentally friendly."

    Great article Maya
Do you think (BQI) has any intention of extracting oil for distribution?
I could be wrong but it seems as though they're just hording land, proving reserves to eventually sell for a profit?

I do like (BQI) though they have some big dogs behind that one.
Substantial amount of insider buying recently and no debt.
I would like to see some Rev's though.
Do you still have an interest in this one?
Do you have and entry point?

SISM Research Note On Tamm Oil & Gas
"Tamm Oil and Gas is planning an initial two test wells drilling program during this winter season 2009/10 to evaluate the Manning prospect for possible cold flow potential. The Company believes it has identified lighter oil reservoirs directly underlying the known heavy oil accumulation. The potential for lighter oil is in the range of 100 -- 300 MMBO of conventional oil reserves. If proven to be correct, this would significantly enhance the overall project economics and yield 3,000 -- 10,000 BOPD of cold production within the project area. Last week, a new updated engineering report estimated a total of 3.14 billion barrels of heavy oil-in-place only from the Mississippian Elkton and the Mississippian Lower Debolt Formation..."

Ernest Schlotter also states: "Tamm is currently valued at an Enterprise Value per recoverable barrel of bitumen of only $0.053 per barrel and we believe the Company is significantly undervalued". He continued: "Tamm Oil's value potential will be enhanced by proving up the assets and proved and probable bitumen and barrels in development or production will carry higher EV multiples. We believe $1.00 for EV/Recoverable barrel is the right valuation in this commodity price environment. There are many junior oil sands companies like Tamm out there that are effectively being valued at almost zero and the new appetite for large oil sands properties revalues those assets, as those assets have strategic long-term value".

SISM Research has been using three different metrics to assess the value of Tamm Oil today, which include a pre-production assessment on 3.14 billion OOIP at $0.10 per barrel, a 35% recovery rate on 3.14 billion OOIP at $0.20 per barrel, and value for land based on an average of what has already been paid for. The research firm arrived at a final value of $2.87 per Tamm share. PetroChina paid over sixty cents for an acquisition, and Korean National Oil intends to pay $410 million for one billion barrels of bitumen. The newest deals mark a return to some of the valuations seen in 2007 and 2008. "If we value Tamm using $0.50 per recoverable barrel of heavy oil, without paying attention to the lighter oil potential in the project, Tamm would be valued at $7.01 per share", concluded Schlotter.
