    Awww...how nice! Do you squeeze pennies, nickels and dimes until the Presidents plead for mercy? Shoot, good ole Andrew Jackson was begging to get out of my wallet the other night because I was strangling him. See why I normally use a credit card? I can't stand all the Presidents begging for air in my wallet... :)

    I've made my share of mistakes as well. If I added up all the money I left on the table because I am one of those who says, "oh maybe just one more day and it will go higher." Wait...don't obsessive gamblers say that. Oh grief...I am glad I am a DGI convert...my investment life has gotten so much simple since then. :)

    Crap giorgiolb you are making it hard to argue! BUT, like I said...I can argue with almost anything. I own a German shepherd, don't drink so cannot comment on Irish whiskey, prefer Swiss chocolate over Dutch, and have gained wieght thanks to Swedish meatballs! :) But you do crack me up!

    giorgiolb, sadly the losses I am currently sitting on are in my Roth IRA so I cannot use them to save anything on taxes. Grrr...

    I "threw away" very little during the Great Recession except for some old dusty mutual funds. I am too much of a penny pincher to feel losing money is cathartic! :)

    Why thank you giorgiolb. However, I have to tell myself loses are "good" so I keep from curling up into the fetal position and crying at how much money I have left on the table from allowing my "oh I think it will go higher" thinking overcome my "get the _____ out of here!" response. :)

    Kidding on the fetal position...I just use my stock certificates as targets...that makes me feel better. :)
