The Timberland Blog
Many changes are occurring in the ownership and management of timberland as the timberland asset shifts from forest industry to institutional investors. The energy crises has focused the country on renewable resources, carbon neutral fuels and a desire for energy self-sufficiency. Woody biomass is emerging as
the fuel of choice, particularly in the South, to meet the policy targets. The Timberland Blog examines these impacts and how they are shaping tomorrows markets for timber and timberland.
