Lives Simply - Aims High.
58 year old private investor. I began watching the markets in the 6th grade - our home room assignment was to pick a stock and follow it until whenever (I can 't remember which stock or when I actually stopped following it - I do recall that, during that period, it may not have done that very well. Nonetheless, this experience was the seed to my interests in economics/world markets and so on.
Twenty years, up until 1996, as broker covering both fixed income and equity buy side institutions with assets as low as under $1MM and over $30B. It really didn't matter too much to me what the size of the customer was rather, could I be of help to them.
Since then, I've spent time working privately for high net worth individuals and co-founded, what was when I left, the fastest growing healthcare IT provider for top down needs (i.e. hardware/software/services and so on). In a nut shell, we were able to save healthcare providers an amazing amount of money on their IT needs and, in particular, digitized imaging systems (referred to as PACS at that time).
All the above came to a conclusion in 2006.
