  • Microsoft Office For iPad Is Toxic To Intel [View article]
MS Word, MS-Excel, MS-Visio, MS-Powerpoint, etc has always been available on iPad -- or at least since I've had my iPad in 2012.

Also, MS-Office has been available on Apple-Mac (all families) since the beginning of time. People use PC or Apple because of other reasons other than what Microsoft has to offer, such as work-user, business-user or gaming-user.

Even if Microsoft offered MS-Office products, do Apple users really want to use Microsoft? Most Apple users don't use PC (or Microsoft) because of their intense dislike of Microsoft's buggy products.

Is this author familiar with Apple products and Apple users? I think NOT.

  • Is This The Right Time For Retail Finance IPO? [View article]
With this IPO of Synchrony, every investor should be aware that 80% of the company will still be owned and controlled by GE.

Sadly, GE doesn't really inspire confidence on anything they do, provide or sell for the last decade. GE is a big, dark monolith that seems to be moving aimlessly, without a goal, purpose or mission.

I predict that Synchrony will fail a miserable, painful death -- along with all the gullible investors that bought into it. Good luck.

  • Mt. Gox looks in an old wallet and finds 200,000 Bitcoins [View news story]
There are NO established financial controls at Mt. Gox. They deserved to be hacked and go out of business.

How can you just find 200k bitcoins? Did they even knew that they were missing?

Maybe if they check the sofa in the virtual living room, they can find some more coins. Muppets.

  • Intel Will Win In Manufacturing Tech, Now What? [View article]

The only thing that stops INTEL is pride and arrogance. INTEL still think that their x86 is superior over arm-chips.

Oh. Also, there's a matter of licensing fees to pay to ARMH. :)

  • GE's Synchrony faces two probes [View news story]
DOJ is Obama's lap dog. And GE is also Obama's lap dog.

What is Obama going to do?

This "news" is just for PR. GM will be given a warning and sent on its merry way to play nice with the other lap dogs.

  • 9 Days Closer To Ford's Stock Popping [View article]

How bad was 2008? In 2008, the financial world collapsed. Even GM went bankrupt and got $33BILLION USD in bailout -- all GM stockholders lost 100% of their investments and bond holdings.

GM came back as a brand new IPO in 2011. GM is now trading at $35 since its initial IPO in 2011.

With all due respect, saying that Ford is up 800% since 2008 is nonsense. Today, GM is at $35 compared to Ford at $15.

  • Honeywell Dividend Growth To Accelerate [View article]

just let GE die a slow death. And HON can have GE parts for pennies on a dollar. No need to pay full price for any of GE's carcass.

And jettison GE's "YES-MAN" execs and managers. Useless remnants and dead weights.

    Stevie --

So, there are BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Mazda, etc. But what is your point?

When your friends and family purchase a non-Ford car/truck, do you ask them "WHY"? I bet you that they are going to say that they found a better car/truck than Ford. Capitalism is voting with your wallet.

I'm trying to point out why people buy other products than Ford.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just trying to point out that Ford is crap.

See Ryandan (above) comments. He's a FORD guy for over 50 years, including multi-generation.

He gives a different perspective of the clueless, hit-and-miss, complacent, mediocre management at FORD -- kinda like their cars, trucks and customer services that FORD provides.

A new flavor of management protocol every year? Another reason for inconsistent product quality.

  • Even More Bad Luck For Intel? [View article]
    hey TJ:

10-Nano Technology is nice. But if it's too expensive or irrelevant to Apple, Samsung or Microsoft, then NO ONE will buy it.

For the average consumer, 10-Nano doesn't mean anything.

But here's a thought: take something like the size of Google's Chromecast and make it into a 10-Nano Intel-PC that has your CPU and key to your data. And transform any "dumb monitor" into a 10-nano computer. When you're done, remove it and take it with you.

You no longer have to carry a laptop or tablet. You carry your computer on you keychain, around your neck or turn it into a "active-wearable PC".

And that, my friend, is how leverage the small size of 10-Nano.

  • GE Appoints a New Company Officer [View article]
    Great. Another highly-compensated seat warmer.

Let's add some more red-tape bureaucracy to the GE process so that we can increase the decision-making time.

    Hip-hip, hooray!

    Ford Man:

Points well taken and nicely written. Well, I've said what I had to say that Ford is crap -- from unreliable products to lousy customers service.

People will vote with their wallet. Look around you and ask them why they didn't buy a Ford. Drive around and see how many non-Ford cars/trucks there are.

Most will say the same thing: "They found something better than Ford." If nothing else, the writing on the wall for Ford has repeated DISAPPOINTED the consumer.

At least Ford's market share is fairly constant:

user: Good luck. I hope you have AAA -- just in case you need to be towed back to a garage to get your Ford fixed.

Next time, invest in a good car like a Toyota or Honda.
