  • Even More Bad Luck For Intel? [View article]
"The company's foray into mobile might face some demand issues."

No one wants to buy Microsoft or Android tablets with INTEL chips. Too expensive.

Even Samsung and Apple are hesitating to use INTEL chips in the future.

  • Honeywell Dividend Growth To Accelerate [View article]
"Honeywell (HON), which has outperformed General Electric (GE) in recent years"

That would be the understatement of the century!

HON has focused on areas of competency and supports their enterprise with anything it needs to succeed.

GE is NOT focused. NOT defined. And out of control with 18 board members!. GE doesn't even have a single mission statement that defines what they are.

GE takes weeks or months to make a decision because it has to run it up the flagpole. And that flagpole is mighty high and could get stuck somewhere -- and nobody knows.

GE is slow, fat and stupid.

"for whatever reason ...that Ford's stock ...continues to slump downward"

    Really? You don't know?

Does anyone own a Ford anymore? Does the author own a Ford car or truck? What kind of car did you buy the last time? And why? I'm sure it wasn't a Ford.

No one buys a Ford anymore. They are ugly and unreliable. Ford's Customer service is disappointing. And if you do bring it to the dealer for service, you have to do it multiple times just to fix the original problem.

If you do own a Ford, you probably have 1 and the rest are imports. And you're probably just waiting to pay it off so you can get rid of the Ford.

Who buys a Ford? Ford is crap.

  • CORRECTING and REPLACING Intel Plans to Report First-Quarter Earnings on April 15, 2014 [View article]
This "correction" is just another example of INTEL's incompetence.

Who's running the show at INTEL? What happened to Quality Control?

Who the heck knows or cares anymore. Titanic (INTEL) is sinking fast.

  • Ford Fund Announces $1 Million William Clay Ford Automotive Design Scholarship [View article]
Does this $1million dollar prize going to make your FORD run any better or more reliable?

    Absolutely NOT!

But the $1million dollars will buy some good Public Relations that will hopefully sucker more people to buy FORD cars and trucks.

    Hahaha

  • GE's consumer finance IPO is net positive but no game-changer, analyst says [View news story]
GE will only IPO 20% of GE-Capital -- but represents 33% of current GE business.

Whoever the new CEO of GE-Capital will still need to answer to the same red-tape, management-by-committee, leaderless GE. BTW, GE has 18 board members, plus Chairman Immelt.

GE is a 100+ year-old dinosaur company. It is unable to compete with more nimble, product-focused companies like 3M, Dupont, Honeywell or Rolls Royce (for Jet Engines).

GE will die soon of being too fat, too slow and too stupid.

  • Alcatel-Lucent: How Bright Is Its Future? [View article]
    @bill:

Qualcom was just a rumor to drive up ALU prices. It never materialized.

Unfortunately, the following are also rumors: "Contracts with other tech-giants like Apple (AAPL), Google (GOOG), Netfix (NFLX) and more could also be in the foreseeable future."

ALU is full of "hope and promise" but it cannot execute. They fired almost everyone that could properly execute the vision.

  • How You Can Invest Like Warren Buffett [View article]
Mr. Buffett invests in good companies with low debt, great products managed by great managers and employees who possess great leadership capabilities and innovative spirit. period.

Don't over-think it. Another reason why he doesn't invest in GE, GM, F, INTC.

(Note: of course, Berkshire Hathaway Textiles is an exception -- this was a major cluster-F**, per Mr. Buffett)

  • Ford Stock Due To Pop [View article]
    ryan,

maybe you should write a rebuttal to this article and title it, "Ford stock due to POOP".

everyone here seems to forget all the expensive AND unnecessary risks that F have taken (and continues to take) the last couple of years. Now, F is starting to face the consequences -- and their balance sheets will take a big hit by next quarter.

meantime, 2014/2015 F cars and trucks are looking old and dated. Quality metrics are starting to suffer.

  • Ford Stock Due To Pop [View article]
    Raven,

Based on F performance the last few days, maybe the article should be retitled to "Ford stock due to POOP".

F continues to drain money in EU, China and other markets. Meanwhile, back at home, F can't seem to gain ground against GM, Toyota and other imports.

Product development at F is, again, stuck in reverse.
