    INTEL has $billions to waste.

INTEL is an idiot for building another empty fabrication facility.

ISRAEL is in the middle east -- with unstable and unreliable geopolitical future, especially with ISRAEL's political leaders who are anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab.

If INTEL decides to move their " 10 nano-meter technology", it will be a great manufacturing and logistics risk for the INTEL and companies that depend on INTEL's new technology.

Relocating to ISRAEL would be INTEL's biggest mistake. INTEL is an IDIOT for even considering that option.

Why not use available and under-utilized fabrication facilities in the US?

Per SA's Company Description, "Its main products are display drivers for large-sized TFT-LCD panels."

LCD monitors and TVs are "old" generation. Samsung, etc are now selling LED-based TV-monitor panels.

    SA's description must be wrong.

    @fat banker:

I agree with your sentiments that "...APPLE PRODUCTS work and never let you down."

But my opinion may be deleted again by the editors of SA or Ashraf.

Really? "iPad may be the BMW, but the Kindle Fire is the Infiniti."

I guess I like my iPad if I like BMW more than any Infinity brand. I'll take a German-made car over CHEAP Japanese-made care any day.

What do you mean -- "pissing one if five dollars down the drain"

We all know that INTEL completely missed the boat on smartphones. INTC senior management thought it was a fad. Wrong again.

However, we also know that INTC is capable of leapfrogging the SoC technology if they continue to apply brains and brawn -- and with a little dash of Buck Rogers' innovation -- to their next generation of nano-based technology.

  • Reuters: GE unit close to ordering 40 Boeing 737 jets [View news story]
Why doesn't GE just purchase used 737-800 and 737-MAX?

There are several major airliners that are mothballing their entire 737 line in favor of the bigger, wider, safer and more fuel efficient A320?

Oh. I forgot. GE has money to waste on frivolous spending.

  • Should Berkshire Hathaway Finally Pay A Dividend? [View article]
    I agree with you.

Respectfully, BRK investors are intelligent bunch. They should have known before they invested that BRK does NOT pay dividends. There are many great reasons why.

But just in case they forgot, here's a great article in Dec 2013:

I would add that dividends distracts senior management by focusing too much on short term goals and internal, dirty corporate politics. Example: GE, XRX, F, INTL and CSCO

Sometimes, people just need to be calmly reminded. Senior moment.

  • John B. Sanfilippo & Son: A Stock You Should Be Nuts About [View article]
    Question for you, sir:

Do you buy Planters-brand nuts, Kirkland-brand (aka COSTCO) or Fisher-brand nuts.

Branding, brand awareness and consumer tastes will always go for Planters or Kirkland.

Fisher is considered cheap, tasteless and stale. Sorry.

  • Annaly Has Bottomed: Multiple Reasons To Buy [View article]
I agree that NLY is a horrible company.

"The list of things that Annaly has done in this regard is long. It includes paying seven-figure salaries to relatives of Annaly's executives and board members to run a publicly traded portfolio company that subsequently became embroiled in an ongoing accounting scandal. It includes obfuscating the egregious manner in which its executives are compensated."
