    So far, the liquidity has done nothing to help the consumer and therein lies the rub. By the time employment improves and housing prices rebound enough for the consumer to reappear, it may be too late.

    That is the point of SA, after all. Here are a few ideas. Hard assets, agricultural commodities, farmland, enough gold to escape with and ammunition, in that order.
