  • BlackBerry And Sandridge Doomed? Ask Prem Watsa And Sanjeev Parsad [View article]
Good job Wilson, nice to be young and smart. I see even 2% of the world smart phone market, BBRY will be in the positive and at least $20 a share.

  • BlackBerry: How Can Returns Possibly Exceed Sales [View article]
I just tested my banking/web broker website and on my Z10 with LTE 4G. It is so fast. But if I use the wifi, it is a bit slower. I can live without
the banking apps. If you use your iPhone or Droid phone, I suggest you do not do any banking at all. Totally not safe.

American hate BB is just like the people of Planet Earth hate American. Good match! Stick with the iToys, they deserve it. Ooops, Samsung is really kicking the ass of Apple!!!

  • BlackBerry: How Can Returns Possibly Exceed Sales [View article]
    I read this in Crackberry:
We reached out to BlackBerry and they had this to say:

“BlackBerry wishes to respond to media coverage today regarding speculation that there have been abnormally high levels of returns of BlackBerry Z10 devices. This is absolutely false. Our data shows that return rates for BlackBerry Z10 devices both in the U.S. and on a global basis are in line with or better than our expectations and are consistent with return rates for other premium smartphones in the market today.”

No doubt this is an organized bear raids since no positive news for the last few days. Most people know what they want from Z10 and they are happy. We have two Z10 and we still love them after 6 weeks. It never "freeze" unlike my old Android SG.

  • BlackBerry Surprises With Profit Even As Subscriber Loss Deepens [View article]
Last Quarter Z10 only sold for 4 weeks in UK, 3 weeks in Canada, 2 weeks in UAE and plus 5 days in India. 1 million sales beats the analysts forecast of 300K to 800K units. 55% new users came from other platforms.

Loss of subscribers is expected with out-dated products. But BB had 76 M subscribers in March 2012. With only new product Z10 in Feb 2013 in partial areas and partial month, losing subscribers to the level of same as one year ago is really amazing good. Going forward with full launch and Q10 (QWERTY) version coming in April, subscribers will be growing again.

  • BlackBerry Vs. Apple: Which Is A Winning Bet For 2013? [View article]
This is like comparing two student report cards of the last three years. The author is trying hard to mislead the market and manipulate the stock price. He forgot that one student (AAPL) is falling behind and the other student (BB) is working much harder to improve. You should compare the report cards in the next three years. Investing 101, past performance is no guarantee for future performance. Everyone knows without innovation and new products, Apple is rotten and cannot sustain the profit margins they enjoy in the past. IPhone is more than half of their revenue and is not doing well. They will miss the next few qtr's but BB is on the rise and gaining traction worldwide. Your rear view looking analysis is consistent with so many US so called analysts. They miss the boat when BB was $6, and they will miss the boat at $14. What can I say, some people just put the head in the sand and will never learn. Good luck with your AAPL long and BBRY short. Total irrelevant and rubbish IMO. Do you want a bet which one will double from here first?

  • BlackBerry Reminds Me Of Palm Just Before The End [View article]
Anybody have a brain should know why BB released Z10 touch screen first, except dumb axx cannot see it. You have the guts to write here, go back to KG1.
For limited resources, BB strategy on BB10:
    - Go to market with the powerful Z10 to re-capture the lost touch screen market share from Apple and Android. Priority#1
    - Take time to develop the Q10 QWERTY to suit the BB10 OS. The traditional BB QWERTY fans will not run away and will have the patience to wait another two months. Priority#2

BTW, are you related to the BB Basher Eric? Have the same beard and stupid smile.

  • BlackBerry: Why Store Checks Are Meaningless For Analyses [View article]
Good scentific thinking! Unfortunately these so called analysts still live in the 60's with their slide-rule. The worst part of this, they only have half of the crooked brains, what professional integrity?? No kidding.

  • BlackBerry Z10 - No Zeros For Indonesia [View article]
    Miss Dwi,
Excellent first article, thanks. Smells like spring flowers. Please provide more feedback from the Indonesia market ground. People in the West will never understand the Indonesia culture.......warm, sociable, and family oriented. They love BB phone and BBM to keep in touch with all their loved ones and friends! It is a good society status to own a BB!! Unlike Apple fans inclined to love Apps, games, & toys. Two totally different culture.

  • BlackBerry Rallies On Upgrade But 'Niche Midrange' Thesis Questionable [View article]
Nonsense! According to your theory, both BMW and Mercedes will have no future. People will only drive Toyota or Honda (before were GM and Ford). Apple will be like GM, just stay tuned. Samsung will be like Toyota. BB will be like BMW.

  • Why BlackBerry Is A Better Investment Than Apple [View article]
Obviously you live in US! But try to get out, there is a bigger world out there that is not so much debt-ridden than USA! You will never see so many BMWs and Mercedes parking in the parking lots if you live in USA.

  • It's Too Early To Get Excited About BlackBerry's Revival [View article]
It was interesting to watch the SG4 launch. My 1st impression:
    - lots of improvement in hardware, bigger, faster, better camera video etc.
    - lots of new features suppose to be cool (hand movement, eye sensing, health watch etc)
    - productivity improvement (S-translator, voice driven email, text, messages etc)
    - Overall impression: target younger fans, not clear on what exactly is the main theme, confused features that could be a minus for some people; looks more like a toy gadget to please "kids"; professional adults may find it to be too much for a smartphone that is not helping us to do a better job; if you like fun device to watch video, movies, music or gaming, then this is the gadget for you.

As for comparison to BB Z10, it is totally two different leagues. One for business tool, one for purely entertainment, depends on what you want for a smartphone. As for myself, I still love my Z10, simple, functional, and productive. BB has nothing to worry about SG4. May be Apple iPhone since they are competing for the same crowd of smartphone users. If I have to make a choice between iPhone and SG4, I would take iPhone.
