  • Why Is Complete Enrollment Important To NeoStem Investors? [View article]
B.; While I understand your position and concern, insider behavior is only one of many factors involved in the decision to buy, or not to buy. I will make my own decisions and I will not abrogate my decisions to a group of, otherwise non entities. I cannot explain why insiders behave as they do except that they, too often, know less than they should and lack the ability to think for themselves and then make their own educated decisions. Often they are virtual sheep in people garb.

D/D; I think your comments are quite good and I agree with nearly all you present here. Like many other readers I learned something from your comments. I do think it would behoove you, in the future, to include the analogy, as the last comment, rather than the first. In my opinion, 80-90% of the audience would learn something from your comments, however, many astute readers will pass on a comment when the analogy is made up front, without evidence or support, although they might agree, as I do, with your position. So, they never get a chance to benefit from your knowledge.

Mr. B.N.; Thank you for another clear, factual and easy to understand science report. I really like all of your reports. Notice the interesting secondary discussion and how different the comments are compared to many of the idiotic discussions resulting from other reports. I think you have a well educated audience to match your well written reports. Contrast your audience to the audience for STSI which seems limited to scream, yell, name call, and discuss "anything but the facts." I think your audience expects the best quality from your reports and the get it.

  • XOMA -4.5% AH, to sell shares in follow-on [View news story]
I do not like it when my shares are diluted because they need to raise research money. lf you don't want to experience this depressing procedure, it is best to stay away from research companies until they have a product finishing a trial, preferably final trial. However, by then, a big part of the profit is gone. I don't understand why people get so irritated when they read about dilution when they know this is part of the game. It takes us back to Harry Truman: "If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen".

  • Avanir Pharmaceuticals' Management Presents at Deutsche Bank BioFEST Conference (Transcript) [View article]
Deutsche Bank Biofest- if I am not mistaken this means a German beer party. Ever been to one? They are really great fun especially when your company is doing nothing whatsoever while the world continues to move forward with vigor. But then again if your company does nothing they can't really make any serious mistakes. Do you think they actually get paid for what they do not do???

  • PharmAthene cancels merger agreement with Theraclone [View news story]
I think this was the best move for the stockholders. The Theraclone deal appeared to be getting dirty at the expense of the stockholders. It doesn't say much good for the board of directors. They were going to cash in for a bundle. If they had their way the stock price AFTER Siga would have been 1.88! I hope we all can see how good it is to have a few big guys in the stockholders pen. Golly how come Theraclone high tailed it so fast? Dirty dealin midnight trippin???We all owe that 10% stockholder company a big vote of thanx for the heads up!!!

  • NeoStem: A Biotech In Need Of A Catalyst [View article]
Hey Big Red; I agree the long term here is very positive but I think one negative article no matter how stupidly written and no matter how much relevant information is ignored, still effect the stock price much more than most other stocks. Sometimes it seems to me the investors in biotech seem to wait for a negative article then suck it up like gospel. Classic example is STSI. Every author spends his Xmas vacation tearing it down and ignoring the facts but the stock holders suck it up then cry the blues for what they personally make happen.

Dave; I think neither of the two factors, otherwise relevant, effect the price of a biotech. They don't react like the rest of the market. Logic and reason seem to allude them. Perhaps because of their size they are too easily manipulated by the short pansies.
