Five Things Companies Must Be Doing to Get Through Recession

Some think of this type of information as "New" or "Recession Times" oriented. Unfortunately it's not and if you look at higly successful, and most importantly stable growing, companies, you will find that these items are STANDARD fair on a continuial basis (which is why they are successful) in good AND bad times.

Companies that are successful and have made these items as part of their day-to-day continual operational methodology, have done so from almost their beginning. Unfortunately, the number of companies in this category is small compared to the number of companies that fit into the "management by fad and current trend" and "extremely politically correct." If companies that fall into the latter category worry about doing business and less about the "hey look at me, I do it too" factor, then they will start falling into the stable and successful category more often.

NOW that, they don't teach you in college, but then again, most college instructors and professors have never worked in the real business world.
