Is Baker Hughes Losing Its Touch?

Disclosure: I am a long-term BHI employee.

I have just discovered EnergyPoint Research and have found Mr. Sheridan's articles thought provoking, esp. as they relate to my employer.
The closing of this article, "and over-adherence to decentralization as an operating tenet", begs he question. How would this over-adherence be manifested to outside analyst and customers? What observations would to lead to such a conclusion.
