Is Sprint Following In Nokia And RIM's Footsteps?
It appears to me that the author indeed with short the stock and hope to pick up a quick turn around based on a ridiculous back of the association between these 3 companies. Look deeper, and you see the truth. Sprint's brand is leading the wireless industry right now, the Customer Service is on par with the best in the industry, the employees are energized and engaged to have good executive direction for the first time since the Bill Esrey era. Nokia and RIMM are getting killed because they are not Android or Apple....Sprint sells both. You cannnot compare equipment providers with service providers, it's apples and oranges, and you definitely cannot do it with a couple of high level charts and no more insight on the companies than a balance sheet.
Sprint's build is about far more than LTE...like shutting down IDEN which significantly reduces OPEX costs and improves margin....which will position Sprint far better than they have been since 2005.
