I agree with most of the above comments. This article merely tries to feed the flames for the shorts, with no real supporting info, yet ignores the positive news that has helped propel Rimm to its current levels. I am personally long RIMM, and anticipate a further run up to the BB10 premiere.
Amazon Went Down First On Earnings, Then It Rallied; Why Investors Were Right The First Time [View article]
I personally think Amazon can boost earnings by cutting millions wasted on shipping costs. I have Amazon Prime, so I get free 2 day shipping on any purchase. Sometimes I have to make a one item order, as there is a limited quantity of the item I want, and I have to act quickly. Within an hour or two later, I had time to add more items, but there is no option to add to my previous unprocessed order. I even called customer service to see if I could combine the two orders, so they could be sent as one shipment. There was no reasonable option available. Combining orders would also streamline the in house distribution system, by letting workers pack one box and not two or more. There are probably many other ways Amazon can cut costs and still provide the same service. They just have to want to do it. Cutting shipping costs could certainly be one way Amazon can help boost their bottom line.

Well, this made, and surpassed, the $5.00 mark today. Volume, usually about 5 million per day, was over 52 million! Now there is no news out, so what drove this up over 50% on this massive trading day? Could it be some rumor or leaked inside information? Who knows, but sure looks like somebody knows something.
