Fremont Michigan Insuracorp: High Quality Platform at a Bargain Valuation [View article]
I am an agent working in a small Independent Agency in North Western Michigan and have Fremont as one of 5-7 companies that I can choose for my clients. I am not a "rich agent" by a long shot and I don't know any "rich agents" in my part of the State.
That being said, here's why I think giving a small discount to help Fremont agents afford stock ownership is a really smart idea.
Our first consideration in our agency is to do the best thing for our clients - that's why we continue to do well and grow our business.
The fact that Fremont does a great job makes them a logical choice for a great many of our clients.
Having a stock ownership stake in the company gives me one more reason to make sure I help Fremont by placing good, profitable business with them.
I want to help keep them competitive and let them know when other companies have new product ideas, rate changes, or coverage enhancements that they should look into.
I don't think I'm that unusual ... I suspect the more agents that do get stock - the more they will likewise want the company to suceed and will help them.
I therefore respectfully disagree with your opinion Stocking Horse.
Call me crazy - but I say Fremont IS serving it's share holders by bringing it's agents on board!
