  • Micron: The Story Isn't Tech ... [View article]
You sir are a genius. I've been desperately trying to connect the dots. I just couldn't figure out why the share price dropped. Thanks for the heads up. I might try to sneak in a couple more shares while it's this low

  • Micron: Why This Time It Really Is Different [View article]
this has been a rocky road. I got in $12 sold $14. re-entered @ $13.50 with a much stronger position and have been completed spooked by this stock + current market. It would be nice to see this stock SP appreciate without taking a massive dump immediately following HOD.

At this point l need to get off this "ride" & break even because although im not selling any shares. I'm getting hit on expiring options OTM. My best advice is load up on shares but leave options alone. This stock has it's own agenda.

  • Nokia Lumia 1020: Much Ado About Nothing [View article]
This article is a waste of time. What about brand loyalty and distinction. Nokia has little mind share after this release. All that will change. Nokia won't need to compete if a customer wants a premium camera with their phones.

Apple won the industry by being unique and innovative. If you haven't heard Samsung has been scooping up ex Nokia employees and building an R&D facility right in Finland.

Check out Grapheme & pelican array camera. Nokia's little project will change the world, and it's already secured by hefty lot of patents. Not to mention the patents they have been submitting on an almost monthly basis

  • Nokia Needs To Tell Us If It Is Going To Sell Its Phone Divisions [View article]
Nokia D&S would be worthless without the R&D and patents. You fools think you can surgically separate a company of this size and still keep the synergy it managed to form.

LOLOLOLOLOL! Nok would go bankrupt the second it sell any of their divisions, not to mention cashed out and shorted into the ground

  • BlackBerry's Stock Jitters Can Gain Some Direction With Earnings [View article]
I learned in my time investing. There's no such things as easy money. The price would have already reflected the increase. There something fishy with this level of optimism, and l think there will be a drop as oppose to a short squeeze.

I've already offloaded my shares for a small profit and expect to buy in on a pullback. If the price target is $16-ish. And the share are already $15.63. I doubt the epic short squeeze everyone is talking about is happening. Anything higher then that is being a little too optimistic

  • Nintendo (NTDOY.PK) hopes a partnership with Unity Technologies will turbocharge its game pipeline as it looks for winners which will differentiate the platform from new consoles from Sony and Microsoft. Under the program, independent software developers will be able to create games in an app store environment. Though skeptics abound, one blockbuster title can swing the pendulum, notes gaming analysts. [View news story]
Another Brillant move. Iphone gained it's popularity from the same type of play. Angry birds brought a lot of casual users to the platform. Imagine if nintendo scores a new independent title the likes of bryne 2, or DOA. Independent developers can't build game to take advantage of PS4 or Xbox graphics; Nintendo will be good enough.

  • GameStop (GME +0.5%) President Tony Bartel thinks the Wii U is being overlooked as discussion over next-gen consoles rages on in the gaming community. The thinking from the exec falls in line with estimates from Wedbush Securities which show Wii U console sales of 6M for the year, compared to 3M for PS4s and Xbox Ones. One lingering question on the Wii is will Nintendo (NTDOY.PK) drop the price on the system to boost sales even higher or stand pat. [View news story]
Dammit! I was hoping to catch more share in the $11 -$12 range. I agree Nintendo understands profitability more so then any other console maker.

They just need to lax some of their foolish policies and make their fan base happy. I'm not too happy about their policy to lock games to a console. When that goes i'll buy one, until then l expect them to take some heat on the topic.

  • Nokia (NOK) +2.6% AH after the WSJ reports Microsoft (MSFT) held advanced talks to buy Nokia's phone business, and was "close to an oral agreement" at one point, but adds discussions broke down in part due to price and concerns about Nokia's competitive positioning. One source says the talks "took place as recently as this month, but aren't likely to be revived." [View news story]
Maybe we're all seeing this the wrong way. MSFT may have instead talked about pushing their surface into Nokia. I doubt any exclusivity but MSFT needs to step their game up in the tablet market and who better to offer a premium tablet at a competitive price world wide...

  • Advanced Micro Devices' Strategic Partnership With ARM Holdings: Negative Implications For Intel? [View article]
Why not modify the chipset with a 86x decoder. Would take up a lot less space then equivalent 86x circuits. then there only one bottle neck to focus on. AMD has already talked about a mixed ARM/86x SoC being released. I think it ludicrous to stack the two together and have one side shut off and the other active. The 86x instruction set already have decoder that translate each instructions to micro ops. How much harder ( dont take that literally ) would it be to do it for ARM micro ops. They can consolidate everything and optimize the hell out of it.

See where im going with this...

  • Advanced Micro Devices' Strategic Partnership With ARM Holdings: Negative Implications For Intel? [View article]
Check out there roadmap. AMD seems to be favouring ARM more and more. It's possible they may just emulate 86x through ARM and just do away with 86x architecture, making their chipsets more efficient and cost effective. Just a thought.

  • Nokia's Next Big Smartphone Announcement Could Spur U.S. Lumia Sales [View article]
    I said and in quotes...

    "CHEAP" cameras.

Not high-end and mid-grade. Im waiting to see if it catches up to the mid grade cameras now. The cheap $100 cameras don't really provide enough of a difference from the carl-ziess len in nok phones. Especially with all the image manipulation options the lumia provides. It hard to argue that.

Finally the innovation that Apple was suppose to be... This is going to decimate iOS fan base. Imagine how the fan boys are going to react to buying a subpar phone.

Also dont forget Nokia is working on grapheme. The next "indestructible" material. Image a phone you cant break or scratch. Unlikely but one can dream.

Reviewers will have a hey day with drop tests. LOL

You just confirmed that the EOS is possibly using the Lytro/Pelican image array. It either a dubbed down version of it or a derivative. So far l hear there developing it to take 3d images and videos. Either way it's just the tip of the iceberg. This technology is still in it's infancy and will blow everything out of the water. By the time other manufacturers catch up they'll be paying Nokia a hefty patent.

Long... So So So LONG :D
