  • AMD: Could Bad News Be Good News? [View article]
Trust me l know. I made a decent run from the last set of rumours. I was going to reshort but im tied up from other stocks.

I was there when it almost recovered 2014. Tanked like hell, and now all l see is buy out rumours. AMD is going nowhere for a long time.

  • AMD: The New Puma Chip As A Catalyst In Mobile [View article]
I'm sure apple would jump at the chance to integrate an efficient dual GPU into MacBooks. It'll be a selling feature they can't refuse. I would love to see AMD's APU in Macbook but l think the public would avoid them altogether.

Intel has a name in performance they can coast for a long time, and i'm sure if Apple started using AMD APU's their customer base might defect.

One can only dream though :)

  • AMD Partner Program Rewards and Celebrates Global Channel Partners [View article]
This is great news for long term share holders. It'll make the AMD's brand very popular among suppliers, as they open up to more choices. Especially AMD's gaming oriented APUs which are just in their infancy. Gradually as AMD's gains market share we can finally see higher margins across all products.

I doubt this will amount to any meaningful share price gains short term, but i'm seeing them lay down the ground work for a bigger picture.

For last and this year. SURVIVE AMD... SURVIVE!!!

Look who jump on the concept for HSA bandwagon. I know this isn't HSA but this is proof HSA is far from dead. I'm sure NDVA will do there own thing and re brand it.

I'm guess INTC is busy at work implementing their own unified memory architecture too.

  • 3 Reasons Why AMD Will Beat Expectations For Q4 2013 Earnings [View article]
The PC Division numbers look scary. The market has no sympathy and will attack that angle to sell down the share price to keep shorts safe ( probably to extend accumulating ). I'm not holding through ER, nor will l short, but i will buy my position back on a moments notice if it spike.

I agree these numbers look do-able and im long AMD w/ a price target of $20. Although $40 should be my new target. This company just keeps getting better and better

  • If You Want To Make Money This Year, You Have To Think Different [View article]
I agree with you on AMD and BBRY ( i think BBRY is a much longer wait with way "drama" ). I dont know enough about RELL.

At this point my recommendation is to wait after "QE Taper" to see what deals come about and buy in. May you be long or a trader, both stock with have plenty of explosive growth.

  • Advanced Micro Devices: Sum Of Parts Shows Significant Upside [View article]
AMD's APU are a disruptive technology. The console wins were VERY disruptive and through smart branding can be leveraged to push more market share. Custom SoC are picking up steam. GPU are hard to find. AMD only needs to take back a small portion of market for the price to double. On the other hand, with a saturated market the competitors can only hope to stay flat. Lucky these analyst can use past figures to justify their articles. The new spin is low margins + high debt makes for a bad stock. At AMD size will have to wait until their are no more catalyst to bash. Somehow they always find something foolish to spin.

  • Should You Buy Intel Or Advanced Micro Devices? [View article]
Intel can't keep possibly using their brute force to enter every market. Their dominance in PC/server markets is keeping them alive but look everywhere else. A lot of investors still think it's Intel vs. AMD, but in reality intel is against a lot of other competitors such as QCOM. AMD decision to go niche gives them just enough breathing room to make a full recovery. They're doing great with the little resources they have and are dominating these small niches. AMD doesn't need to win but they just need to capture back market share and generate revenue. The old perception that AMD is crap mentality is quickly reversing.

  • Apple: Time To Take Over The Game Console Market [View article]
Someone should try programming a AAA game in Objective-C before they claim AAPL will take over or gain traction. Unless it written in a pre-built engine that would make it easily portable. Then there would be no advantage to the AAPL platform.
