Apple sells simplicity, not music.
Until WalMart writes an operating system that works, a computer that works, then writes something to compete with iTunes, then manufactures something as ubiquitously simple as the iPod, and then has the fortitude and leadership to wrap all of these things together in a manner where they interoperate beautifully, they will fail.
This time, they will fail. Perhaps another day someone will figure out how simple Apple's success is. But not today.
