  • Markets Have Hit a Bottom, But Is It THE Bottom? [View article]
When firm's start reporting quarter after quarter of bad numbers and they continue to roll out with poor results; reality will sink in.

I really think Obama is doing all he can to lead us out of this and yes we will come out of it. Warren Buffet understands the strength of the US economy.

What we are all discussing is "are we there yet!" No....we're not there.....not yet.

Rally's have happened before. To call this the "Great Recession" and to watch the show illustrates the apparent. We obviously don't get it yet greed is with us. Tat the bottom is passed....let us pray it has! I think not.

  • This Recession Is a Reset to a New Normal [View article]
It has been down right scary to watch "The New Reset America" switch from Democracy which it has been defending with wars, into Socialism. All in the name of survival.

Socialism from England to Canada, to the USA. This is the same direction Trudeau took Canadian's in the late 60's.

The US Government will continue to own large parts of mega corporations. More and more of that is yet to come.

The Democrates in the name of keeping things under control, are approaching entrenched Socialism. All of this as the reset unfolds before our eyes. All to perpetuate Democracy. Hmmmm!!!

Wall Streets insured greed got us here. Average Americans will
be paying for those mistakes for decades to come.

Printing new US dollars (will be seen by other countries as an arrogant USA replacing dollars lost in toxic assets sold overseas).
Eventually this will disgust the offended Countries ie: Ireland, Iceland, etc. IMO....The new reset United States of America will carry a stained relationship with many parts of the world for some time. After all weren't those asset bundles sold in pieces all over the world suppose to have some sort of value.

Funny how the US stock market has started to recover and yet the fat lady has just been rumoured to have been seen, never mind that no one has even seen her.

IMO....get ready, this rollercoaster ride will continue for some time.

  • Wynn, Casinos Freefall Continues [View article]
Revenues are down! Below carrying costs.
I've run a small company for years, how much money can they borrow or float?
Construction costs added in and this is a new game. Believe as I do; & I do believe that these Casino's will survie; it is really a matter of when to buy. The Sands went up and down and up and then straight down. Anyone heard the fat lady sing?

  • Wynn, Casinos Freefall Continues [View article]
I was just in Vegas and was astonished at how many people there still were spending money on a Tuesday and Wednesday night.

MGM Mirage is definitely in a cash crunch from City Centre but it is a huge wealth generator. It is currently paying for most of City Center out of operating cash flows and lines. They have sold Treasure Island which will provide some cash and they have hired a firm to work with them to find new cash and rearrange their finances.

The road ahead is unknown except that this is a very strong high demand wonderland for adults. If they can survive this they will
emerge on the other side with their house in tact anyone owning shares will do well.

I'm looking at a 10,000 share block purchase. Seems like everything is right eccept the economy. Survival is a game for all major casino's right now.

Trumps in & out of Bankruptcy has shown that the banks do not want to own any of this. They just wanted to finance it before the down turn and now don't even want to do that. Seems right to buy.... just thinking that this will go painfully on until late May of this year.

When to buy...is the key to all of this at 1.90 + or - or wait until it hits $ 1.60 or
    $ 1.20 Hmmmm!!!!!
