Looking at industries, Airlines and Resorts/Casinos stand out to the upside, each up about 3.5%. Steel is -6.1%, Silver -5.8%, Foreign Money Center Banks -5.4%, and Networking stocks -5% are leading the way down.

Finally, AMR is showing some life ...

Smallcaps Flush with Cash

TNA looks like the best way to play small caps in general ... In case of a market turn around, small caps would advance more rapidly than their counterparts in mid and large cap. Watch for volatility though!

Too late for Rick Wagoner, but Harvard Business School's Rosabeth Moss Kanter says GM's (GM) precipitous fall is a massive wake up call for corporate U.S.A.: "Now is the moment for every company to do what GM failed to do fast enough and imaginatively enough: rethink everything."

Yes, it is a bitter pill of medicine nobody expected coming from Obama administration. I believe corporate USA will heed to this wake up medicine.

Fast Money will lose its host by month's end unless they come to terms. Jon Friedman thinks Dylan Ratigan may shine brighter elsewhere. If his fans follow, CNBC (GE) could take a ratings hit.

I thought he was already gone, and last Wednesday was his last day at CNBC!! I did not watch Fast Money on Friday, though!

I believe true global economic recovery will happen soon ... The dollar will be stronger than ever before! So, if history is any lesson, precious metals will decline, decline very hard. In my opinion, Gold around $700 withing the next 3 months!

Miller Tabak's Dan Greenhaus notes the current rally is now the strongest of the current bear market. "The rallies are getting stronger, and while we can still move lower from here, I'm beginning to believe that the bulk of the declines is behind us... for now."

Even though a couple of trading days left, this rally appears to be historic. Stock market is in for the best montly gain in March, since 1986!!

I don't want to jinx the rally ... but, thought it is interesting.

Stocks come on strong in the final hour, with Nasdaq out in front, to finish near their highs. DJIA +2.25% (+174.51) to 7,924.32. S&P +2.31% (+18.84) to 832.76. Nasdaq +3.8% (+58.05) to 1,587.00. Dow's now up 8.9% this week, S&P +8.4%. Nasdaq +8.9%.

Yep ... that was a nice day! I liked today's tape ... All sectors participated except the financials. The finacials needed some cooling off. Transports showed some life in a long time!

Whether it is the end of the bear market or the beginning of a bull market .... who cares?? To survive in any market one has to have discipline and pick the right stock or stocks .....
