    Was this before or after Obama and the Feds announced they were pushing to tax all ecommerce on the Internet? I'm sure net-retailers will upgrade MySQL/Java solutions less as their profit margins decrease.

  • Ingrid Beckles: Freddie Mac's Plan for the Housing Market [View article]
    I think Obama has oversimplified the question of re-financing. You see, for many individual situation it is not wise. For example, if your credit situation has decreased, then modifying your terms may be worse for you. So think carefully before you jump on the bandwagon. Make sure you review this checklist:

  • Are the Big Banks Gaming the Taxpayer? [View article]
    Yes. See the graphs and watch the video here:

    digg.com/d1nozs

    When all is said and done, regulations do more to help the status quo that crafts legislation. They say Obama is different. However, he continues to spend and help the banks, crafting legislation with their direct input. We know not where the TARP monies went and are going—and no one is talking—as if Washington is gripped by a secret society on oath to protect these beneficiaries. However, even if they remain secret, we know their implement of choice: The Law. Even if a law is created, there is always an exception. They draft a line-of-law-here to give them an ‘out’ and they put-a-line-of-law there to save face and they put a line-of-law-near-the-end to protect their organization, group and most importantly, themselves.

  • AIG Bonuses Draw Abundant Anger [View article]
    AIG = Allowing Irreversible Greed.
    AIG = All in Greed.
    AIG = Arn't I Greedy.
    AIG = A$#holes, in general.

    This is sick. Why in the world are we helping these companies that keep sending millions to people who do not know how to run a company? They cry yet get paid millions on the "average joes" taxes. Furthermore, I fear this is just the tip of the iceberg. Look what Enterprise rent-a-car did to get bailout funds:

    Not to make excuses for these people, but the bailouts are making crooks out of everyone that touches the money.
