  • Why The Federal Employees Health Benefits Letter Is A Big Deal For Belviq [View article]
Good Job S9........Tv ads will spark consumer to get off their good intentions to ask their doctors about Belviq, while Eisai works the back door for more coverage from providers. Perfect storm is brewing for a great 2014 agenda of significant progress. Wall Street is listening to this move, this letter is a market mover soon as health care providers comply to coverage. Waiting for the rebuttal from Spencer O for a hockey stick modification. Investors generally are impatient about the time it takes to secure a foundation of coverage for new drug's coming to market. Share prices will slowly increase without the major blast up as the coverage expands as health care providers comply to this directive. My opinion, not investment advice....but I am holding firm all shares.

Great article S9......waiting for rebuttal from Spencer "O" on the future curve of his hockey stick. TV ads still necessary to inform everyday consumers, sparking them to get off their good intentions and ask their doctor about Belviq, while at the same time Eisai is pounding the back door for expanded coverage from health care providers. Exceptional progress on all fronts coming this year to expand sales will make Wall Street take notice....long money will prevail. GLTA

  • Arena Sales - Pacing Along Modestly [View article]
It does not matter to me.......still holding, and adding shares with new cash at these value prices. Build it, the customers will come. It's a very effective weight loss drug yielding results above the human trail studies, and it needs time to penetrate the market. A year or two will show amazing sales results from the patients who respond.

  • Linc Energy in shale exploration talks with U.S. company [View news story]
My guess HAL........Haliburton will be in the mix of players, along with China's CNOOC. Linc is working on a deal for UGC in China, and CVX is spending money around the globe making a huge deal just completed in Argentina with YPF, the State Owned Oil & Gas company for the Vaca Muerta Shale area.....4th largest in the world.
All arrows aimed at China for export from this area.

  • Energy MLPs pop on Fed no-taper news [View news story]
Own a few of these outright, and hold most of these in 2 MLP funds.
I'll see today if the tanker oil transports go up as well. Love KMP, and MWE as a core holding. Good things ahead.

  • JetBlue: A Stock All Value Investors Should Consider [View article]
I flew Jet Blue last week, Boston to Tampa returning from a cruise via Quebec City. Flew Delta on the way up from Tampa to Detroit and a transfer airline to Quebec City.

One comment Jet Blue flying experience was exceptional. The best cabin seat leg room above first class in many other airlines.
My first time on JetBlue and I was very impressed top to bottom at every level.
A very fair price for non-stop service to Tampa Intl. Airport....thumbs up winner over Delta.

  • Advertising Starts On Arena's Belviq [View article]
Do you really think the recent share price dipping into the high $5 range is a result of weekly script numbers? Not a chance that is the reason in my view, and I bought more shares long at $5.75.

  • Alkaline84 Water Story Is A Bit Hard To Swallow [View article]
I would like to know what their total capacity output is as they expand facilities to produce the product. How many bottles are they gearing up to produce. How much space will be allocated on the grocery shelf? Does it make a good cup of coffee? You want something alkaline, take a tums tablet.

Bottom line, they could stock and sell more to the grocery chains, but if it does not sell they are getting it back, and a credit on the bill. Chain grocery stores are not stupid....you will eat your product on returns sent back if sales don't happen. Caution....don't buy this sham scam company. If it's the real deal, there will be plenty of good entry points to get in.

  • 3 Reasons Alkaline Water Co. Will Soon Crash [View article]
Your body switching to a more alkaline base vs. being on the acid side below 7.0 ph is a proven science for a more healthy lifestyle. It does have a proven ability to fight off illness, and disease in many forms. Will this product meet those objectives?? I don't know, you may have to drink two gallons a day. I have seen the pump pieces, the company has no legs to stand on for earnings. I totally agree with you, a crash is coming, and the few market makes controlling the shares will not be buying your shares when you try to dump them.....count on that.

True, sweet soft drink sodas are taking the heat, sales slipping, coke in Australia (symbol CCL) is taking a real beating this year in revenue. Obesity on a global scale is going up.......sugar in all forms of food/beverage choices is a definite contributor. A then we have China, as the largest consumer of bottled water in the world because their water sucks. Perhaps there lies the market for a gallon jug of H2O with alkaline base. As an investment, this one is a pump-N-dump operation and you will not be able to exit when it goes south once they have made their investment returns back from the stock issue. Just put it on your watch list, throw a $100 bucks into it, don't get greedy. A fool and their money soon part.

  • Vivus - Silence Is Not Golden [View article]
Do you put that weight loss profile of patients in the He or She, men or women category. I hope Arena & Eisai can find a more suitable celeb to represent them if they choose that path. My vote Oprah.
VVUS needs a rescue lifeline, they are in deep water over their head with a long swim to shore. Past time to exit any position, and the EU is a toss-up for approval along with having no partner to get the ball rolling......a mine field with uncertain risk bleeding cash flow.
No position in VVUS, and never wanted one, Long ARNA.

  • Deeper Research: Belviq + Phentermine Equals What? [View instapost]
Least we not forget.....the FDA approved the VVUS combo already. It's on the market. I think we have a much safer compound. An off label doctor's decision to combine two scripts for certain patients is a big plus for Belviq. I see early combo treatment for 3 months, and then on to Belviq maintenance.

  • Arena Revises SEC Filing On APD811 [View article]
Question? Do we even know if this adverse event study patient was on the placebo, or the drug before making assumptions? Does the FDA know the entire patient by patient results from a double blind study?

  • Arena Revises SEC Filing On APD811 [View article]
Well spoken Moral! This article has overblown the single one event. Spencer has treated it as front page, above the fold headline investment news. It reads, fear, doubt, and uncertainty disguised as an article of importance for traders. It does not meet the smell test in my view, the author was very, very prompt to single out this small piece taking his thought's to the article, and on to publish. His paint brush, hides the picture being painted.

  • Arena Revises SEC Filing On APD811 [View article]
I find it amazing that you take this one small correction to their filing to make such a long protracted article, along with all the reply comments you accept or defend, and the efforts to respond. There was far more good news in that filing, than bad news....you seem to have chosen your side to express.

I would not have taken this effort for such a small issue unless you support a declining share volume trade day. You certainly were "Johnny-On-The-Spot" to get it published at length. Sometimes I question why, or who you write article's for supporting trade activity direction. It's clear you are prompt to post doubtful, and often negative comments both in time, on time.
What makes you get up and do this everyday?

Fear, Uncertainty, & Doubt .......FUD. I detect this often hidden, or disguised in your writings. You do a good job of that! Starting to side with PhillyDan on your articles. I don't trust what articles say, communication from the street can't be trusted, and wall street has a machine to slant articles. Lost my confidence in your trust at this point, I'll trade on my own research.

  • Is Arena A Buy Near 52-Week Lows? [View article]
Ignore the trading manipulation. Arena is on track, the pipeline is progressing, new markets are on the near horizon, Belviq sales are progressing at a positive pace....and the drug works.

It's a buy at $7 and certainly below in the $6.35 level it reached yesterday. A few shares were sold, most were forced selling stop losses, margin calls. I would bet the bottom dollar that many who got a margin call , or got stopped out, and had to sell bought back shares before the end of the day. Bid to Ask ran a high ratio most of the trade day with Bid's the leader. Some large share blocks were being traded (bought).....every seller had a buyer waiting to purchase shares, retail, tute's, or shorts?
