Apple Hits 100,000 iPhone Apps: Is the Choice Worth the Cost? [View article]
This without doubt the dumbest thing I have seen here . "So Apple’s refusal to expand its product line has finally paid off. By creating a regimented army of drone devices to run its marketplace they’ve ensured absolute compatibility at the cost of, potentially, consumer choice." This is Apple's business you moron. They have been wildly successful following this formula. Got a better idea? Why don't you go out and start your own company and build a multi billion $ business in less than three years.
How did that short work out for you this morning? Looks like AAPL is up a bit this morning, hope you didn't lose your shirt. By the way, please enlighten everyone on how Apple is "fudging" it's numbers in order to maintain it's valuation.

What an incredibly poor article. Do you get paid for this? You can take even your out of warranty Mac to the store and get it looked at by a real person. In my experience Apple's service is outstanding compared to the rest of the electronics industry.

Here's Zach's response to my comment on the 30 pin connector from his other blog. "The fact that you cite the 30 pin connector as an important feature, worthy of note, leads me to believe you think Apple's shit don't stink. The fact that they've created more vendor lock-in through this connector may have a back-lash. I don't believe it's going to be the reason for a new class of compatible products. I could be wrong."

@Crazy legs
You are correct on your point regarding Rim's lead in push notification. However just met someone that owns a Storm and wouldn't even take it out of it's holster because he is so embarrassed by it. He hates it! So yea one piece of their technology is great, the rest not so much.

Of course Canaccord Adams is going to think that this won't effect Rimm, it's a Canadian company that make a market in that company. In Boston the super successful Blackberry Storm is now a buy one get one free proposition at $99. Can't wait for the day that iPhone is buy one get one free (hell freezes over). Access to the 30 pin connector is the game changer. The phrase "RIM's technological lead" made me laughed so hard that I spit coffee through my nose
