Theresa is a geological formation of Cambrian age (thus much deeper than Devonian Marcellus in NY). You are correct that Nornew and partners reportedly hit a couple big Theresa wells in northeastern Cattaraugus Cty, NY: the Burger & the Emerling. The Theresa is a structural play, although a sandstone, maybe more similar to Black River in relation to its geographic distribution.
