Anyone know if AMD is the IP owner of HBM, stacking the DRAM on the logic die, alongside the GPU or CPU? http://bit.ly/1dwKx5Z

@Fib. How true, seen it work like magic. Guess no one knows how or why it works, reminds me of the two disunited giants of physics. Relativity says the future's fixed as the past vs quantum mechanics that proves the uncertainty principle. Market psychology. Maybe we're in an AMerican equity supercycle?

Keeping in mind how important the cross-license agreement between Intel and AMD is, it is likely that any of AMD’s possible M&A actions will be discussed not only by the two companies, but also with the U.S. authorities, which prohibit imports of certain technologies to certain countries. In any case, it is noteworthy that the CFO of AMD does not reject the possible plan in general.
Looks like AMD is sure that no matter what, Intel will sign a new cross-license agreement with it or its successor. At the end, AMD has a lot of patents, including graphics related, which could be used as a leverage to reach a new deal

Correct Pablo, no major debt due till 2019. Carrizo started shipping to Lenovo (world's biggest PC maker) 1st quarter, HP too. Perhaps they'll start selling x86 in quantity again. New supply contracts revealed often. New talent coming onboard, the king returned a couple years back. http://bit.ly/URIc5a

Do you have any info on the share dilution? I know they've had 700 million and a few for years and still do today. Links please.

The x86 was invented in the early to mid 70's. Cant believe its still a mainstay architecture, but it is. Personally, I'd bet the courts wouldn't hear an IP infringement case on it. Anyone know the statute of limitations on IP? http://bit.ly/1dlq5Vt
