  • iPad Used As Medical Device, Huge Success For Apple In Healthcare [View article]
Lion prince You make the classical error that is so common to well educated physicians. You feel that because you are knowledgeable in one area such as neurology, you have knowledge in other areas. It just does not work that way. Physician have one of the highest death rates among pilots because they have the same attitude as you have. Your expertise in medicine does not give you any special knowledge about apple or investing. That is clearly evident from your comments.

Don't know why they keep publishing this nonsense. It hurts the credibility of the site and the authors who have something useful to say.

  • Don't Tell The iWatch What It Can't Do [View article]
Great article I do not understand why so few do not see the tremendous potential for this device. No one needs another watch to tell time, but this is not about a watch its about a completely new device which will team up with the I phone making the phone even more attractive to own. The I phone will be the mother ship for the I device, giving it unbelievable capabilities. The needle will not's going to jump around like crazy.

  • Even Worse Than You Think [View article]
Dale if the obvious conclusion is to buy the broader or total market with a low cost ETF which I think is correct why don't most investors do that. The evidence is that you can't beat the index then why do people(we) continue on this fools errand. Perhaps it is the same reason people go to casinos to gamble even though they know the house always wins. We are not rational beings and selectively use data to suit our own needs and desires. It would seem that financial advisers with all their expertise and access to information, should be able to beat a primate throwing darts at a list of stocks, however; that does not seem to be the case. You also raise an interesting question. What is the purpose of Seeking Alpha. Ultimately I thought it was to share information so people can be successful in their investing endevors...and make money If the evidence is clear that investing in the index is the best way to go, everything else is fluff.

  • Apple Stock Price Likely To Peak Before Long [View article]
People, Mr. Blair is really an apple bull in disguise. He is pulling our chain. He probably has a very large long position in apple and is having a great time getting people crazy with his posts which make no sense at all. He is also making a few bucks from SA. Many of us thought he was nuts but I really believe the joke is on us. Surly no one seriously believe the things he writes. Good one Mr. Blair.

  • Apple's Curious Acquisition [View article]
Thanks for a really mature, balanced assessment of the POTENTIAL acquisition. Everyone has an opinion of why the deal is good or bad, without any information about what apple is thinking or if the deal is even for real. Apple has an army of very smart people who would have made a very informed judgment about whether this potential deal makes any sense or not. The rumor of the deal and the insanity of the market has allowed apple to buy back additional shares at a lower price, so the rumor of the deal has already helped apple. It also has helped those wise enough to purchase additional shares at a bargain price.

  • Apple Would Find It Difficult To Integrate Beats Electronics [View article]
Article after article.... comment after comment...Everyone knows what apple should do or shouldn't do. Everyone has the answer and solution for all of apples problems or imaginary problems. It's wondrous to me that apple has managed to become the company it has without the help of all the experts who post here. I wonder how that has happened? Have you ever thought that they have built an amazing company that produces amazing products without taking a single suggestion from any of the SA experts.

  • How $10 Billion Gets Apple's Stock To $750 [View article]
Nice article but I think your estimate of potential market capture for Idevice(watch) is much too conservative. Certainly no one knows, outside of apple, what this device will look like or what it will do. It stands to reason that it will be different and unique from other things that are available. When it comes to market, if the price is anywhere reasonable, it could capture the ENTIRE market. Why would you buy any other a wearable that will be inferior and obsolete compared to the new apple wearable device. The potential for this product is huge and not at all factored in to the price of the stock at this time.
    Very long aapl.

  • Apple Looks Like A Better Buy Than The Market [View article]
If they can develop the technology to measure blood sugar then why not other blood values. How many diabetics in the world would jump on a way to check their sugar without a needle stick. How many non-diabetics would be interested. How many people who think they have high or low blood sugar etc. The market for this one measurement is enormous. Now add some electrolyte measurements and lets throw in an electrocardiogram that is transmitted to their docs office with a push of a button. I think they could sell a few of that kind of device. To think of it as an I watch is really not appropriate. No one needs another watch but the idevice is another story,
