  • Sorry Bears, We're In A Secular Bull Market [View article]
Thanks for very well written and informative article. At this time the issue that concerns me most is sequestration. If this occurs, which I think is likely, how do you think this will affect impact the recovering markets?

  • Will Apple Exist 3 Years From Now? How Much Will It Be Worth? [View article]
What makes you think apple is confused. Seems to me everyone writing about apple is confused. There is no doubt that James is very intelligent, but when it comes to predicting the future he does not really do all that well, and neither does anyone else. Trying to predict what will happen to apple 3 years in the future or 3 months in the future is an interesting mental exercise, but no more then that. If you have nothing better to do have at it. Don't fool yourself in thinking that you are doing some productive.

  • Facebook: Is It Capable Of More Revenue? [View article]
I would agree that facebook is a terrible waste of time...but can we make a list of how most people "waste time." Lets start with all of sports, surfing the internet, tweeting etc. The real question is will people choose to waste their time on facebook or waste their time on some other time wasting activity. If people continue to waste time on facebook and facebook can generate revenue from them wasting time, it should do very well.

  • Cash Hoards On The Sidelines And The Great Rotation: Old Myths Meet A New Reality [View article]
James this was one of your finest articles. No need to apologize for writing style. It was all there if people took time to read through it. The problem is not with the information but with conventional wisdom which offers us a comfortable understanding of issues even if they are incorrect. It becomes very uncomfortable to give these up. Those that challenge our belief systems must certainly come under attack. In a bygone era you would have been burned at the stake. Be careful that still might happen. I still can't accept that the world is not flat but I am working on it.

  • Apple's New Smartwatch: Why Investors Should Care [View article]
Just read about i watch. I am not a watch guy. Never wear one. If I need to know the time use the phone or ask someone else what the time is because everyone else wears one. If they can put it together and make it work, it will be huge. Everyone and their mother will want to own one of these. Try to tell your kid that he doesn't need one. Good Luck The potential market for this product is incalculable. IMHO it does not matter what you call it. A hobby product or great technological advance. This product could take apple to a whole new level. Long aapl and buying more.

  • S&P To 1872 From Quantitative Easing [View article]
What ever happened to civil discourse ? Did the authors opinion bring back some dark and terrible childhood memory. Did he challenge your manhood in some way. Could you just disagree with his opinion without all the other nonsense.

  • Apple Should Approve A Huge Repurchase Plan [View article]
Reading these brilliant comments posted here gave me a good laugh. Good laughs are sometime hard to come by. It seems that everyone knows exactly what apple should do and what they are not doing. I really don't know how they manage to function with the advice and guidance from the everyone here, and their mothers. The Greeks had an interesting word " hubris" don't know why it came to mind.

  • MDY: Long-Term, Moderate-Risk, Passive Strategy To Beat The Market [View article]
Don't think there is leveraged version but could use leverage version of mdy I could only check it for 5 years but it beat mdy 88% vs 44% Don't know why it does so well, but it does. It has been weaker recently.

  • 12.95% Dividend Payer AG Mortgage Investment Trust Growing And Trending Upward [View article]
I think you are not alone in your concern for the markets in the near term. It is especially unsettling on days like this when the market is up big time. During the last several days, I went almost completely to cash, for the first time in 4 years. It seemed obvious to me that the market cannot keep going up given the hurdles we face in the next several months. Yes we will eventually raise the debt ceiling but the fight will be ugly and the market will react in a predictable way. Whether we cut spending or not, the market will sell off. I believe we are seeing the last gasp of hope, before the reality of where we really are, sets in. What is the potential upside of this market, at this point in time? What is the down side? Looks like to me the answer is pretty simple! or is it ?

  • Will Today's Pop In Arabica Coffee Signal The Start Of A Much Needed Rally? [View article]
Not sure why he should worry. When wages go up, as they likely will, cost of producing coffee will go up and cost of purchasing coffee will go up. Coffee is still a very inexpensive commodity. People are not going to give up drinking coffee.
