  • Four Reasons We're Headed Even Higher [View article]
If you're making the same calls as Cramer I suspect your credibility as one to listen too.

  • Wal-Mart Range Bound on Same Store Sales Headwinds [View article]
I like to know what the sales team is smoking. My local Wal-Mart has been trending down 5% in sales y/o/y. Other stores are reporting 3-5% declines as well.

  • Wal-Mart: Look Ahead to July Quarterly Results [View article]
Question 1: Why is Wal-Mart not disclosing their monthly sales. Sure they don't have too but are they hiding "good news" just to blow us all away for this quarter?

Question 2: I have to wonder how much people are really buying at Wal-Mart other than food?

Question 3: How much can people really trade down? When you are unemployed you simply do without not buy it cheaper at Wal-Mart.

I think Wal-Mart will under deliver this quarter.

"Nobody saw it coming", funny that I just read another article on seeking alpha listing everyone who did see it coming.

  • Wal-Mart and Offering Employees 'Strategic' Healthcare [View article]
It befuddles me to think that Wal-Mart is naive enough to cozy up with the government on this issue. Haven't they been sworn enemies on mandated health costs for years? If the government is willing to share it's bed with a nemesis, Wal-Mart in this case, how much more are they willing to kick them out when the government's true bedmates the union and nationalized health care say this fling is over? I say Wal-Mart is beginning to play with fire using government to squash its competitors and once you play with fire you're bound to get burned!

  • Why the Dow Is Headed to 6000 [View article]
I think the "sentimental" shift is important to note because I clearly remember back in February and into early March I thought the financial world was going down the drain. As the Obama administration came out with all their new plans, an easing of the M2M rules, and Fed buying everything else I really remember that feeling in sentiment changing so I bought in around mid-march. The gains were nice and sold off in mid May. Why because my sentiment has changed once again and has only gotten stronger the longer this rally last for a more bearish move. I never really thought those changes back in March were going to cure the disease just some medicine to alleviate the pain. Right now the $64,000 question is if their is more medicine on the way for a higher market push or is the bottle all out and it's time to face the death bed?

  • Why Congress Is Asking Bernanke Bogus Questions [View article]
It is this type of sainthood placed on Bernake by market economists, CNBC, and Cramer that make it dangerous for anyone investing in this stock market. I for one will take a complete collapse of market over the government now being defending for strong arming those who stand in their way!

  • The Real Crisis Is Food: Beginning of the Bull for Agriculture [View article]
Graham I am with you 100% on this but my only question is short term like 3 months to a year do you think a market correction will drag down agricultural even though fundamentals don't support this drop. I am just thinking fall of 2008 could be repeated this fall of 2009 and new lows could be reach in all commodities. This will probably freeze up credit even more and stop investment for farm land and farm business at just about the time our food supplies will be at a critical low. Then all of sudden people realize the food isn't going to be shipped to their local grocer and prices go through the roof! I think timing is key in this play but I'm pretty new to all this so this is also me just trying to hash out what could be a possibility.

  • Less Buying at Best Buy [View article]
You can't go into BB without being harassed to buy some bloated laptop or extra warranty on your battery charger. After a few times of this it's just easier and less harassment to buy electronics online. Wouldn't mind seeming the go the way of Circuit City.

  • The BRICs Are on the Move! [View article]
Great article and like you mentioned you are not sure how it will all play out. A second round of serious deflation in our country will definitely give the BRIC countries all the more incentive to dump US assets and cozy up with the IMF. A serious round of inflation next will confirm that we cannot control spending nor the deficit and thus leads the BRIC nations to dump US assets. Either way two paths but both lead down to the same place.

  • Bear Market Rally: Hoping Cramer's Not the Ultimate Contrarian Indicator [View article]
Last night Cramer was pumping radio shack because he said all those who don't have digital tv will be running to radio shack to buy a converter. I don't know about you but I probably run to Wal-Mart for a converter where it is going to be much cheaper and most likely in stock. Plus I know my town used to have a radio shack but quite frankly I don't know if it moved or closed down for good. So I kind of doubt people will be running to radio shack anytime soon. Cramer sometimes has some weird logic for picking stocks.
