ETFtrader is a pseudonym for an active trader living in the Northeast. Day trading, and sometimes swing trading, is something ETFtrader does five days a week. ETFtrader has found that it is best to exit positions before the end of the trading day, if at all possible. By trading big enough blocks, ETFtrader can generally turn a nice profit with relatively low risk. ETFtrader has been trading for three years, and prefers a bear market because of the increased volatility and the opportunities that volatility offers for the active trader.

ETFtrader works at a social service facility at night. This is done only partly out of guilt, and mostly for love of the job and the people who use the facility.. It certainly is not for the money, which is the motivating factor in all the trading.
