I'm sorry I didn't know that Coca-Cola and General Mills are con schemes? Please tell me more of your conspiracy theories.

In my opinion the US market will continue to go higher. Where is all of the excess cash going to go? Treasuries? With the 10 year at 1.6%? That doesn't appear to be a winning trade looking out 10 years from now. Not when blue chips are paying a 3% dividend to wait it out. Haha, even Coach has a 2.2% yield, with a low payout ratio. Europe isn't looking so good. They seem to think that they are still on the gold standard. They have under and un-utilized capacity both capital and human. They can definitely use some easing, look at the euro its falling off the cliff. However, their backward thinking isn't allowing them to do it right now, they need to a good MMT lesson it seems.
Overall housing looks to be putting in a bottom. Berkshire hathaway operating revenue increased 37% YOY (Q2 to Q2). Also, housing data has been good for the past 4 months. In my opinion US equities are the best place to be currently. Just my opinion though.

  • Index Investing: One Size Doesn't Fit All [View article]
Great article as usual. I am also long BRK.B. In my opinion every pullback is a buying opportunity. With a buyback that kicks in at 110% of book value, which at the end of last quarter would put it around $78. The intrinsic book value most likely has increased so far this quarter. I would be loading the boat at anything under $80.
Question: What do you think the next big acquistion will be?
My guess would be BDX. Thanks for the article.

  • End Of An Era For Gold Investors [View article]
This author Michael Allen is brave. Haven't the Seeking Alpha authors learned not to write negative articles on LVS, CMG, GLD, or SLV. HAHA. The holders of these are extremelly emotional whether their thesis is right or wrong.

I appreciated the article, and especially liked the CPI to gold graph. Thanks.

  • Buy One Berkshire Hathaway, Get One Warren Buffett Free! [View article]
Things look a little different when you back that out 30 years doesn't it? Fine you take GLD and I'll take BRK.B lets check back in 15 years and see who has faired better.
I remember people saying the same thing about Buffett during the tech bubble, that he lost it and was out of touch with the modern economy, then the bubble burst. Gold will be no different.

Do you want to list any numbers to validate your ideas? Or is it your philosophy to invest on whims and emotions? I'll take this as a contrarian indicator to pick up some LVS before earnings. Thanks.

  • The JPMorgan Whale Matters But Get It In Perspective [View article]
The buy back will resume at the start of Q4. The trade loss is almost covered. It was stated under worst case scenerio it would only be about 1.5 billion. Did you even listen to the conference call? Or are you just trying to get to 2000 comments?

It has a grahmn number of $70, and a dividend yield of 3.4%. I'll get paid to hold. Also, Warren Buffett owns 1 million shares in his personal account. I think that it is a decent buy here. IMO.

  • My Top Pick For Casino Stocks [View article]
I have been patiently waiting to by LVS since $60 and pulled the trigger today $39.23. Great growth potential with strong cash flow. 2.5% yield with a low payout ratio that can and will be increased over time. LVS will continue to take market share from its debt burdened competitors. IMO. LVS will have 9,000 4 and 5 star hotel rooms in 2013 in a market of 23,500 rooms. That's 40% of the market share in Macao.
