If creations are halted, that can cause the ETNS to trade at a premium, NOT at a discount. That would require them halting redemptions, which is not legally possible in any current ETN product. The only risk to current holders of the ETN is that they get to sell them for MORE than they are worth. Of course people considering purchasing them now, should be careful they are not paying too much.
