    PERM is the permanent portfolio ETF, launched in February of this year. Including dividends etc., a typical permanent portfolio has a long term annual return of 8 to 9%, compared to 4 to 6% for a diversified bond portfolio such as AGG or Pimco's Total Return Fund (BOND ETF), two other boring and steadily growing funds.

    Was last night on a flight from Europe to the Middle East. Flew over south-west of Turkey and then the Greek island of Rhodos, clear sky. Turkey was almost in the dark - as expected at that time of the night Rhodos was a hugely illuminated spot. I was always told to turn the lights off to economize on the family or company budget.

    Permanent fund with similar results PRPFX: 10% CAGR, -27% drawdown and 7% volatility over last 10 years, 6% up YTD. Permanent ETF is PERM, launched a couple of days ago.
