Don't obsess on technical rules as if they're the word of God. Especially with "story stocks" like CVM, technical indicators are useful only so far as they might work within a certain period of time. If the expected action does not occur, fuggetaboutit and start working on what the chart shows NOW.
Look at AMZN. Huge gap up at the end of January. Around Feb 10, it looked as though the chart might be breaking down to fill the gap. But, no, instead it just consolidated for another month. On March 10, it broke out to the topside again, and today the stock is making new 52-week highs. Anyone who clung tenaciously to their technical charting rules let a 50% move get away from them.

Why 'Investor Intelligence' Is an Oxymoron [View article]
In 2000, I started an investment club at my workplace with novice invesors. What a mistake. Guys were forever bringing in charts and recommending stocks "because" they had risen 4 or 5-fold or more in the past year or so.
Using fantastic apocalyptic scenarios as a rationale for owning gold is like buying MSFT because you can make up a fantasy story where they have wiped out every other softwaare company from the face of the earth.

Interesting. Stock is at $2.18 and the company has $1.53/share in cash. I'd like to learn more about them.
