  • Why Does Ackman Think Fannie Mae Is A Ten Bagger? [View article]
the government had to know something about its profitability before implementing the Third Amendment. If indeed they knew it could be construed as predatory lending topped with the dividend sweeps. Obviously not a fair deal was attempted for other shareholders. I don't believe this will come to any conclusion for many years and by then Obamahead will be out of office. One thing is sure that the American people will need F&F for their mortgage funds and continuation of low cost mortgages for many generations to come. I think the only really valid reason for the Fed or Treasury to get rid of F&F is to hide past mistakes and to take any funds for their own. That is my opinion.

  • Liberty Media Speaks About Charter And Sirius XM [View article]
Really 75% of liberty's valuation? Are we giving away our value for a pittance. Perhaps SiriusXM should buy out Liberty? Carl Icahn are you out there?

  • Liberty Media Speaks About Charter And Sirius XM [View article]
Yes as a shareholder I would be interested in a fair price. I don't want to hold substandard Liberty stock with someone else pulling the strings. That is a fools share and Malone knows it. He thinks that forcing us will make it happen. What he forgets is that now many are watching. Liberty and Malone are bullies and no one likes to do business with bullies? Ford, GM, Toyota, etc. Funny thing is that this is how he treats prospective shareholders. I wonder how he treats customers and allies?

  • Cheap Growth A Key Highlight For Rite Aid [View article]
Absolutely get involved this is your investment. Ive gone to a local other company store and been dissatisfied with what the store was doing and looked up the corporate office and sent an email directly to the top person. As an investor those at the top do not get the information for various reasons. Twice I have been contacted by a very high ranking corporate person who does oversee operations so I found that person to be very interested in what I was experiencing. Not only that it was followed up with a letter from that person. And from time to time a phone call. I've had very positive results. This is my investment and I expect the workers to follow the corporate structure in which I have decided to invest. We need to be more like our grand parents and make a few waves. Stand up for our rights and demand what is expected.

  • Google's Plan For Your Body And Its Stock Split [View article]
My thoughts on the share split are that it is the inevitable greed of the tech world to create an environment of disparity among those whose money they hope to USE to propel their infinite greed forward by splitting the shares at there current value and voting powers to a lesser value of voting power. That in itself should not be allowed. Greed is so powerful that it causes those who have power to abuse that power. I will not buy Google because they are already telling current and prospective shareholders that they are going to screw you over. So wake up and smell the coffee

  • Sirius XM Holdings: On The Way To New Highs? [View article]
I think that the factor of human nature of being an employee of a company that is possibly going to be taken over by Liberty that the motivation of growth has hit a wall. It is hard to feel motivated and loyal to your company when a new boss and possibly major changes are expected. Let alone the possibility of job loss. I think that may also have contributed to lower new subscribers. If not hitting a wall then a temporary "resting on laurels" because Liberty is now going to be responsible going forward? Of course if the agreement does not materialize then it would be back to work as usual.

  • SiriusXM Announces Retention of Financial and Legal Advisors by the Special Committee of its Board of Directors [View article]
Go Nader Go go go go keep them honest "ole boy". Was Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP the bankruptcy attorneys for sirius before Liberty came onto the picture? Is there a conflict of interest here? Did they bring Liberty on board during the bankruptcy proceedings? Someone should take a look at this to make sure the common shareholders interests are being preserved. Has anyone contacted the Justice department to make sure this is done properly. Committees and Board members have loyalties to current status quo so this needs to be watched over. Im not making accusations just want this done fair as possible. The common shareholders should put together a committee to watch over the Board Special Committee.

  • What The U.S. Steel Industry Thinks Of Ford Motor's Aluminum F-150 [View article]
Taking into account that many trucks are bought by people who like trucks not for their usage but for their looks and convenience. I would also look at price and gas consumption costs? Those two factors could really make aluminum vehicles very desirable. As we move into the world of computer driven vehicles I see less accidents and less need for steel protections. Personally I think the steel industry is not too happy and will do whatever to keep steel in the automotive industry. I guess we will see?

  • As Liberty Media Dips Sirius XM Investors Rant [View article]
The last few years I was fortunate to buy penny stocks of bankruptcy forlorn companies. It was a great learning experience of how buyers and sellers manipulate the value and cost of shares/stocks. The ongoing deceit and games associated with getting shares and controlling the companies even in bankruptcy. So do your homework and question whether this scenario playing out is again some of the same old games played by those seeking to take over your interest in a publicly traded company? The continual riding down of value to force some to sell, and some to buy at lower levels is normal process. This is a nerve wracking game and not for everyone. I have made lots and lost some because at times it can get really tiring to follow and to figure out if you are doing yourself any good ?

  • How Much Should Liberty Offer For Sirius XM? [View article]
I find it hard to accept that deceit is allowable. Society has said it is OK to deceive, lie, cheat, or kill to get what one wants. Our laws only transcend getting caught and then it seems allowable because of circumstance. No wonder we are seen as immoral in other countries? A fair offer is honorable. Deceit is not. Liberty should be honorable to its shareholders who are also Siri shareholders too.

  • How Much Should Liberty Offer For Sirius XM? [View article]
I think many of us would vote yes if the price is right, but then a fair price is not expected. I think another major issue is that the stock is non-voting, Siri shareholders do not want to be second class Liberty citizens. It is a poison deal that Liberty is offering. "Jimmy Jones Deal"
