Is Jim Cramer Right? Is Apple Really a Market Barometer? [View article]
Personally, I didn't interpret Cramer's comment as relating to any kind of a real time market relationship. I also thought he was talking about future predictive trends. It's common knowledge on Wall Street that the market requires leadership in order to move forward. Cramer apparently believes that Apple will be the key participant in this leadership. I believe he will be proven right on this prediction. In any case, I guess I can understand how a technician minded person might get carried away with a detailed analysis and think otherwise.
Wow!! Talk about an article where the author surely has had her head buried in the sand. Then again, perhaps she's just another one of these lonely attention seekers?
Why Apple Stock Is Poised To Go Flat - At Best [View article]
Well, I would normally agree that the name calling from the posters above is really unnecessary. However, I have to admit that articles like this from such uninformed so called analysts are quite shocking. I found it hard not to get emotional myself. On the other hand, I'm convinced most these guys are just attention seekers and they know they're going to get blasted when they post the articles. So I think it's best to just ignore them.
Apple's Problems - Bad to the Core? [View article]
What bugs me about Seeking Alpha is they will let any clown post articles whether they have a analyst/journalist background in the subject or not. This author obviously only knows enough about what's happening with Apple to be dangerous. Hopefully after reviewing these reader comments he will "get the message" and move on and get a real job.
Apple: Great Company with Lofty Valuation - Due for Pullback [View article]
Mark, Seriously, you should stick to your background of covering restaurants, airlines, and companies selling donuts, sugar, tea, auto parts, etc. Obviously the high technology industry is not your cup of tea.
Changes in Market Cap for Biggest U.S. Companies [View article]
Yes indeed the handwriting is on the wall for Apple. This firm will be nearing the top of the largest market cap list in just a few years. The ultra-portable hand held computer market is going to explode and be absolutely HUGE, and AAPL will have a dominate market share not to mention an even much larger piece of the laptop and desktop PC markets. And keep in mind that Apple is also cornering the audio and video download entertainment markets as well. Talk about an outstanding business model.... WOW!!
Come on now! Does anyone really believe that Apple will just stand back and watch the present "unlocked" iPhones situation (which only recently became apparent) continue for years? Furthermore, how can any analyst forecast slowing sales based on vendor builds when they don't have a clue as to what new product introductions are in the pipeline? It's common knowledge that Apple demands that such information be kept highly confidential by all of their vendors.
With Apple's brand recognition and customer satisfaction ratings now second-to-none the firm's desktop and laptop computer market share will no doubt continue to grow. But what's even more promising is that Apple is obvious putting the wheels in place to become the dominate supplier of the next great PC boom "hand held mobile computers," and this is going to be a absolutely HUGE market.
