  • Why Gold Is Losing Its Shine [View article]
Define Booming: I define it as USD weakness.

I did not realize that Treasury prices were declining though which they would be if they were "booming".

But then, you did not define Treasurys. 2 yr thru 30 yr? or are you referring to T-Bills?

it looks like the angles of decline in Nat.Gas are turning to a sideways motion. Meanwhile, Silver has a chance of retesting this year's high.

In General, it looks like the only real weakness was in NG.

Alan: CDE, NXG, HL, etc. all agree that the GSR means squat.

The ratio is for use only to justify one's position in the Bullion itself whaterever it may be.

Shares can move for a variety of reasons including analyst revisions.

  • Gold Stock Fundamentals [View article]
Gold stocks will have a violent advance whether gold breaks above $1000 or not. From your brief description of Gold stocks, they are undervalued at present prices let alone a small gold surge to $950.

Your approach to support/resistance lines is willy/nilly. The process should be the same regardless of chart.

  • Swine Flu: Trade Smartly, Beware the Hype [View article]
Mr. Stathis: Your followup is what I expected to see in your first Version.

Like I said above, I agree fully with your assessment of the Pharma Hype associated with the virus. Everything went up even if it had nothing to do with it.

Unfortunately, it is too late to undo what has been done by the media. The Public will look in askance at anyone coughing or sneezing.

I read your Article for the first time because you were highly recommended. Your follow Up leads me to agree.

Gee, I would have thought the idea of screwing around with that massive Supervolcano sitting under Yellowstone would put some fear into someone's heart.

Meanwhile, the Aerial platforms are reality waiting to happen. They are already on the drawing board.

John? I do not remember which company is pushing this idea, do you?

  • Louis Stanasolovich: Short Oil, Long Gold [View article]
The Point I am/was trying to make is that "this is uncharted territory". Those Gurus that were popular before the "Crash" did not see it Coming. Just like in the previous Article, this article does not ask a question I would have asked immediately: What should my portfolio look like if you are wrong on any one or more positions?
