Scrooge: Don't expect Gold to rally with contagion removed from the Region. In fact this removes some of the pressure on Oil. Since growth in the region will not be as robust.

  • Stress Test Leaks: Endgame Emerging [View article]
The latest rumor is that the Gov. revised the Stress in the Test to make sure more Banks don't leave the Fold. Thats supposed to be why the results were delayed.

I'm really, really tired of all this claptrap. It hard enough to make money in this environment without Obama's stooges tripping over each other to keep socialism alive.

The spending spree is on schedule to take years. It will really Start in earnest next year, Stimulus package and Health care, with a little Capex for flavor and whatever else gets Porked in.

Budget Deficits in the Trillions for years to come. And it could be much, much higher as inflation kicks in. You will have to wait a very long time for the Spree to end.

Painfullyaware: these are your statements gleaned from the Comments above, "Governance is Where 'the Rules of the Game are Set'."
"Those Who Refuse To Look And Question Will Never See."
"Humanity Is Constant; Only The Tools And The Environment Change."

Humanity Is Constant, are you? You "Refuse To Look And Question". If Governance Is Not Set, What Rules Do You Use and your Latest And As Far As I Am Concerned, Greatest..."Views Untested Are Useless".

Please apply that last statement to this Article or do your Words Change depending on the Article?

"To Assume Benevolence Is Foolish." is another one of yours from above. Can that statement be applied to all of your comments?

  • Bankrupt Banks and How Asset Values Are Deteriorating [View article]
Can I make the assumption that Land is worthless because the Building on it is worthless?

Or the Consumers who have $4 Trillion in money market accounts really have an Illusion.

Lumber, minerals, water rights, etc. Are they all worthless too?

They are not included in your construction.

Everything will vanish until only gold and silver remain. Gold/Silver come out of that Worthless Land.

  • Mack-Cali Late to the (Follow-On) Party [View article]
Think in terms of Nathan Rothchild, who sold continuously until everyone Believed, then bought at the bottom of a Panic he created.

On 4/29, 6 insiders at BAC acquired about 110,000 shares, Total cost about $950K.

Bernanke made an announcement on 05/01 that Commercial Mortgages are now under the Fed's protection.

It almost feels like a Dog fight, Treasury/Obama vs FED. Free the Banks or keep them enslaved.

"Lewis was bullied" is exactly the point.

Had he gone public, right then and there, BofA would not be where it is right now.

Lewis did what no prudent man would have. He did not CYA. One would think he would have either taped the converstion or had it put into a MOU.

For this alone, I find his judgement to be fundamentally flawed. He trusted the Government.

BofA is better off without him.

  • Preview from Europe: Pigs Scare the Market Bulls [View article]
I'll stick with NVAX, If the Mexican flu gets worse we will all suffer. Those with the ability to get off the line faster will benefit the most.

The market should have/would have cratered by now if all of this negative news had occured in February. Since it hasn't, I'll continue with the belief that it has a way to go on the upside, not much, just another 15% or so.

This will rattle the Bear cages, revive the Bulls and allow the Market to Crash a couple of Thousand points in a matter of weeks.

First you control the Media, then you control the banks, then you can dictate who will receive loans and who will not. You can install new management which supports your control.

The Government does not want TARP funds repaid, it would lessen control of the Banks.

Meanwhile, Banks want the results revealed. Those that can repay will do so immediately and point to the Tests. B. Franks will get his wish.

Swine flu and enclosed areas... the Senate and the House.

  • Blaming Bankers When Government Is Really at Fault [View article]
Please consider, no matter how large a Majority owner's stake in a company, it must get Minority Shareholder approval on Material Changes.

There are Court Cases galore supporting Minority Shareholder rights, these rights are being abrogated.

I can't wait for the Government to be sued, Not as the Government but as the Majority Owner of a Public corporation.
