  • An unmistakable trend is under way as investors cash in their bond ETF holdings and pour the money into stock funds. "A lot of fixed-income oriented people have decided to start chasing equities," says an ETF trader, as they fear being left behind by an equity market juggernaut (they already have been). Also seeing a rush are precious metals ETFs - the physical and the miners. [View news story]
In 1980 there was no Ebay and the sellers were at the mercy of unscrupulous dealers who would rip people off. coinflation.com tells you what a coin is worth via current spot price.
'junk' coins are ones that are worn down and not full weight.

  • Southern Europe faces a "10-15 year managed depression," is the quote making headlines from a Ray Dalio interview on CNBC this morning. The best moment, however, came when Dalio - bullish on gold - is told by Andrew Sorkin that Warren Buffett won't touch the metal. "Tell somebody who cares," seems to be the look Dalio gives Sorkin in response. [View news story]
If every American would buy one oz of silver on one day it would completely strip all above ground silver in existence. There is less silver than gold. What is cheaper and less abundant?

Investing in government issued 1/10, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 oz silver is easy. Just purchase dimes, quarters, halves and silver dollars 1964 and before.
It's not the end of the world. It's the beginning of a chance to become very rich. If you don't want to become rich just poo-poo the ideas of investing in silver.

Only ignorant people didn't ride the Reagan wave. Pass my regards to anyone who is worse off after the world's longest economic rise.

There will ALWAYS be poor. If someone has a dollar more than you they are rich and you are poor (moneywise).
The true 'rich' have health, family and friends. Money is meaningless in true wealth.
People should not be so concerned about what other people have earned in their lives and how they are going to better themselves.

Take your dollars, convert them to euros, go to europe and buy gold and be sure to pay the 17~25% VAT tax on your purchase. Win/win... no, it's lose for you and win for europe.

If the government confiscated 100% of all American's income it would last a week. Stealing from the rich isn't the answer but reversing the runaway spending is.

  • The Hollande Effect [View article]
The new socialist regime will last as long as they can tax the rich. When the golden geese are all gasping their last breath and bled dry is when the socialists will start to confiscate gold to pay for their short term debts.
Sounds good to me and good for gold held in foreign hands.
