Well, if you followed the travails of GM, then his comments should make sense. GM after all had a great strategy, flawed only by the fact that margins were eroding and investment requirements were outstripping cash flow. In fairness, his reputation as an engineering executive was impeccable. He should probably have his CFO do all his business talking for him.
