Quick question for you: Xshares definitely is innovating and helping the development of lots of new product and is leading the way towards this multi-trillion dollar asset flow away from mutual funds towards ETFs. I assume we'll see, as we saw in the mutual fund peak, thousands of ETFs eventually.
With so many new ETFs out there, what kind of tools/data/content are investors using or need to be developed to fully size-up which ETFs are right for which portfolios? Where are the opportunities?

Hi Richard, Great article with good analysis. Do you think the 'search for yield' is somewhat frothy right now? Given tax breaks and a market hungry for yield, aren't some of these traditional infrastructure plays bid up right now? Most importantly, retail investors need to determine how secure the dividend flow on these types of stocks is. Investing in shippers, for example, solely for their yield is dangerous -- in spite of paying out a large % of their earnings to shareholders, they notoriously slash dividends when the market softens and for tax reasons.
