  • Linn Energy: The Permian Trade With Exxon Is A Smart Move [View article]
I dont know what gives?? Albert says good move,Seeking profits says
this trade probably will lead to a distribution cut.
Linn says this trade will be accretive by .09 to.12 ??
What to believe?? Every body---no body

Rolll the dice Lets face it -- no one knows but it is quite entertaining.
I have been long Line for 5 years a for a shorter span lnco and will stay put. It has been a torture test,
but oh those dividends.. I remain positive in the face of some dubious
    negativity

  • Beware The Linn Energy Spike [View article]
    10392701 Is exactly correct.
I talked with an agent from the SEC in Dallas Fort Worth and he stated"when there is no longer a problem there would be no comment. They only reply when there continues to be a problem. As I see it Line has no longer any restriction s with regards to the SEC

  • What If The Linn Energy And Berry Petroleum Deal Falls Through? [View article]
Yes maybe the stockholders love that .09 percent dividend .also dont forget Bry shares popped when the deal was first announced so it might just sink back again if the deal is called off. I know that if I was getting a .32 cent dividend and could get a 2.90 or even possibly A
3.09 dividend I know which way I would vote

I was just trying to make the point that contrary to what "wisenightowl"
stated that many times the SEC does inquiries and investigations and in the end make NO changes .And this could quite well be the case with Line

Spoke to Line yesterday. The 30th was the actual effective record date
BUT while There never was a vote scheduled for Sep 30 -- that was the RECORD date for a yet-to-be-scheduled shareholder vote on the deal.
Be aware that date is"subject to change" as Line is still waiting for a reply from the SEC to their latest s4,So are many of us shareholders
