  • 4 Reasons The Junk Bond Rally Will Continue In 2013 [View article]
what solution do you have to finding yield or a better idea for the retirement investor, putting funds in the equity market like a blue chip mutual fund and hoping we don't have a crash soon now that we are seeing 5 year highs? At least with HYG I can sell call options to hedge and get a nice monthly dividend. I would have been way better off moving all my money to Thailand and into the Thai Baht/gov bonds 5 years ago given it's one of the the strongest currency's in the world...20/20 hindsight.

What do you think about HYG compared to REITS like NLY, IVR and TWO (I keep seeing articles about their spin off Silver Bay). I live in Thailand and have government bonds here, I really like emerging markets bonds and looking at EMB too. I just can not risk any more huge loses like what happen to me with Apple stock last year, I am in major conservation mode now and have not bought anything since getting out of a huge loosing position last year. Hope this year is a better, thanks for your article.

  • Apple: A Mixed Bag Of Competing Considerations From Fundamental To Technical [View article]
I've lost 10% of my entire net worth on this 1 stock and will never buy it again. This has been the biggest disaster of my entire life of investing. What I ignorantly thought was a good investment for the long term just turned to be another hot money momentum manipulated wall street fraud of an investment. The hope I had to be able to survive into my 60's and into my retirement years has been compromised, and only pray I am able to recover some of my huge losses and maintain going forward. To hell with wall street and stocks like this...

  • Is Wal-Mart's Evil Image Deserved? [View article]
Greedy CEO's and upper management make millions while the workers are treated like dogs at SLAVE Wage Walmart Stores, the employees are practically starving and remain in a cycle of poverty. I would rather pay higher taxes to help these workers with training for better jobs and government assistance than allow EVIL Corporations like Walmart to continue doing business in America.

"I hate the liberal mindset of zero responsibility." another false and absurd premise, just a talking point and more hate. Turn off Fox TV and take a breath... I'm trying to have a rational discussion with a bitter angry caveman.

living in Asia and feel the pain, I am sad about the Benghazi tragedy and I have friends in the diplomatic core in fact. I also have a better understand of the Arab mind compared to most Americans (living in Asia 6 years Arabs come to my building in Thailand on holiday). We have to be very careful. Don't know about a cover up and it's horrible people died.

How does that have anything to do with my comment, the Euro Union set this in motion, I have no control over that or the USA finances, I only worry about what I can control. So I really don't get your non sequitur remark, I guess it's suppose to be sarcastic...

I've only PAID into the government, as a business owner, with employees and self employment tax pay I paid higher rates, and the only money I plan to or hope to get from the government is some social security funds. @bbrady is wrong about the apathy, I'm not worried about some future event for our government, my present survival is my reality not some propaganda or political wrangling. Yes we need to balance the budget I have never disputed that. But your APATHY theory is absurd, you don't ever know me and you're just pissed off because you hate liberals.

The smart phone is already a common product what are you talking about?? Yes margins will decline some in the future with competition from Samsung but that does not mean they will go so low Apple and Samsung cannot continue to make nice profits and continue being innovative. If that was the case, quality brands would all go out of business in favor of low end price conscious budget brands E.g. KMart / Tiffanys, Yugo / Rolls-Royce.

Don't get me started on this fiscal "cliff" rhetoric, this is being way over hyped by the Obama haters and the poor rich people that will have to pay a tiny bit more in taxes, similar to what the far right is doing with "Bengazi Gate". The fiscal cliff is a misleading metaphor, the impact will be spread out over many, many months, in fact, many of the effects are already being felt with the recent big sell off in the markets. Will the markets continue downward even more because of this FEAR Mongering, I don't know, but for me this, I view the current market levels as a huge buying opportunity, only time will tell who is right...

  • Expect Apple To Surge In Coming Months [View article]
"How much lower is this dog with fleas gonna fall?" hope you are being sarcastic... there are plenty of stocks that fall into this category, Apple is far from one of them.
