  • Tesla Motors Path To Success And Future Potential Revenues [View article]
Not a TSLA investor - its price scares me - it could continue to grow or fall like a rock.. I do love the company and recently test drove one of the cars a few weeks ago. As soon as Florida rolls out the supercharging stations I could see myself as a buyer.

One thing I rarely see mentioned as an alternate investment in the EV boom would be Lithium...

Anyone have a good play in this space? these cars are going to eat up a big chunk of supply... Was looking at SQM - trading at lowest price since 2009... or ROC

  • Intel Already Planning Its Next Chess Move In Mobile Market Even As Baytrail Reaches Take-Off [View article]
more of the same... wait and see what we are going to do next! been waiting a while - the possibilities intrigue me, the dividend keeps me an investor in INTC. hopefully they can show us what billions in capex can do to win a place in these new devices!!

  • Taking Advantage Of What The Market Is Giving You [View article]
CVX has been the "shining star" for the last 5 years. Are investors just bored XOM. I picked Exxon a few years ago but have seen shares do very little - plus the buybacks don't seem to do much for shareholder value - i would rather see a DIV bump personally.

  • Report: Intel planning flurry of mobile CPU launches in 2014/2015 [View news story]
until the money is put in the books from these grand and superior technologies Intel will continue to trade in the low 20s. Where i will continue to buy it. I am OK grabbing a seat on the gravy train - even if I am early. 2014 will be their year.

  • Buy Annaly To Profit From A Rate Pullback [View article]
unfortunately NLY is not a pure play REIT, they own securities, leveraged 6-8x and are pretty much a pure play on interest rates and hedging strategies. I own a small amount of NLY, cost averaged down to about 12 % loss at this point not counting dividends. I do think NLY has gotten incredibly cheap at this point. If things keep going the way they are we could see another pullback which would mean the fed would have to prop up the economy again.

If you want to use the 'real estate will be here forever - look no further than "O" ' hold a big chunk of this in my Roth.

  • Time To Dump Intel From The Ultimate Sustainable Dividend Portfolio? [View article]
The issue with being an Intel shareholder is you have to have significant faith that Intel will post some big wins at the end of the year. This next line up of chips is what we have been waiting on for 2 years. I own a small business and for the first time in years I have employees requesting new laptops, most wanting Ultrabook upgrades such as the new Macbook air (10+ hrs of battery life) or new ASUS/Lenovo products - and the i7 is just the beginning for these products. The ATOM chips are the ONLY processor available in any of these devices.. I think we will see a resurgence of Ultrabook sales once the next round of Process/GPU technology is introduced as I know I am waiting to buy around xmas time. Intel is making their way into all the Microsoft surface tablets and based on my recent visit to best buy those have to be getting more popular (i had to wait 20 min just to play with the demo model i was interested in)... I think INTC's EPS and profit will start to creep up Q4 and Q1 '14. Their opportunities to capitalize on the NAND boom is there - now we just have to wait and see if they will squander that opportunity as well.

  • Intel And Micron And Depreciated Fabs [View article]
I loaded up on Intel at 20$ hope you are right. there is big bucks in NAND memory and building on fabs that have already paid for themselves is a perfect fit. lets hope Intel fires them up asap.

  • Did Intel Miss The Mobile Boat? [View article]

  • Intel: This Is Your Last Chance To Buy [View article]
Intel needs to get into IPAD or IPHONE!!!

I bought a Windows at TabletPC from Samsung with ATOM processor. battery life is stunning (over 16 hours) but the computer is bogged down playing just ONE movie. Intel's success is tied too closely to windows. Nobody wants a windows 8 or Surface computer. They need to get some other wins before i am sold if they managed to get into the Iphone or IPAD that would be the huge catalyst the stock needs. this is coming from an Intel bull and shareholder. Until then the stock will ride between 20-24$ and i will collect that Juicy dividend.

  • GE Earnings Preview: Mixed Revenue Growth And Cost Cutting Updates Expected [View article]
Similarly i have 13$ cost basis, add in the dividend increases the past few years and I am very pleased with the growth and the progress GE has made.

Pfizer is a great stock to own, booked over 35% gains in that one before factoring dividends.

Buying and holding good companies is a stupid and ludicrous idea. I guess that is why warren buffet is a billionaire and you are stuck writing asinine comments on a message board.

  • Intel: Time To Give It Up [View article]
Michael, nice comment! I think Intel will fair well Q4 and Q1 FY2014 I will continue to hold and collect the dividend. None of the new products we are waiting for have even hit the market! missed revenue, met profit (I prefer profit to revenue any day!) I think things will only get better for INTC.
