It won't be long til no companies will be headquartered in the US.

I work in the electronics industry and i cannot count how many corporations have set up and shifted major business functions to headquarters in Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia etc... this country wonders why we don't have jobs. we treat our job creators like criminals. Like congress doesn't think the thousands of apple employees paying 30-40% in tax is enough. drop corporate tax rate to 15%, we will be flush with jobs.

AMEN Smartplay... The IRS will continue to hire more revenue agents, and pursue actions against tax paying citizens. As an investor and a person who already pays way too much tax (i don't have access to all the loopholes) I am sick of seeing how the congressmen can sit up on their pulpits and preach to companies about not paying enough taxes while they set up the rigged system in the first place.

Dog and pony show. I would prefer to see these companies pay what they owe - that is all.. every extra penny paid in, the politicians will just find new ways to waste it. the excess and gross mis-use of our taxes should be criminal.

Any body that can vote on their OWN PAY and RETIREMENT BENEFITS has no moral compass. While america struggles, they work 4 or 8 years and are set up for life. they should pay into the same system we everyone else is supposed to depend on.

  • Why Apple's Plunge Makes Sense [View article]
I am looking to buy around 400-415$... if you think apple is going back to 300$ you are nuts. The stock is even undervalued at current levels. I may buy some long term calls.

  • Previewing Apple's Earnings Through The Eyes Of Its Suppliers [View article]
I like and agree with your comment, I shorted apple at 700$ all while the cheering committee were saying it was headed to 1000$

I think the next stock to see this beating is AMZN they are over priced by at least 50%.

  • Apple: 2013 Will Be Rewarding To Shareholders [View article]
Not a fan of the "closed" approach they have. We run most of our business applications on google apps and custom built android products and the fact is they just run better. A few of my female employees were driving me crazy about getting an IPhone we tried it, it failed miserably.... google just works better for me. But on the flip side there are a lot of people who like the apple toys and I can recognize that as well..

I don't own apple or its products. The only thing i can lend was I was recently doing some Holiday last minute shopping. The large shopping center I visited had a HUGE Apple store, having never visited one I stopped in, one distinct difference between the Apple store and every other store I visited was the overwhelming # of People in there!! but more importantly the # of people buying 2,3 or 4 things, the stores convert sales, that is a fact!! At the new depressed value of Apple I am going to look at picking up 100 shares.

I agree 100% with your article and although I won't be buying any of their products any time soon I will become an investor. I see the inherent value of the company, I just hope they can keep the innovation pace of past years, the product line has seemed to stagnate some.

  • Apple Performance Following Major Product Launches [View article]
As someone who does not like/use apple products, I see no compelling reason (except 4G) for anyone to switch to the iPhone 5, no magic as in recent releases. (siri, facetime, etc) the growth and development is slowing. The Ipod will be dead in a few years. Tablet competition is very tight...

My prediction - the continued stratospheric success of this company depends on the success of Apple TV. Other than cell phones there is probably NO bigger market(well i have 6 TVs and only 1 phone....) and no one more poised to do this properly. As an early adopter of some similar technology (Roku, boxee) these products all fell short - apple has the chance to rise above. I hold quite a few funds that own Apple so i hope their success continues.

  • Apple's Win Over Samsung Is A Kick In The Teeth For Google [View article]
Samsung's strengths lie in their manufacturing strengths, they find ways to build quality ( in my opinion i have multiple TV's a few appliances etc...) products at prices people can afford. Apple is a market leader, but i hate their phones, the screen is too damn small and i don't like how tightly controlled the content is. I personally just bought a droid razr maxx, and have to say, above and beyond, best phone i have ever had.
