Very eye-opening article and comments. I've been long since late '07 and, up until now, have seen management as competent and forthright. I believe it's fair to ask them now to clarify in greater detail what would happen if they do not raise new capital.

Google does have its own social network, called 'Orkut'. Facebook will overtake MySpace which overtook Friendster. MySpace is a good platform for artists/musicians, while Facebook is currently broadly accepted by a wide demographic.
I'm personally finding less and less use for the site, as its redesign seems to resemble a Twitter page. MSFT's small % put FB's valuation at $15b, but unless the biz model incorporates more revenue, I don't see this as sustainable in the long term, and with their unbridled worldwide growth, serving fees may pose a hurdle.
