  • These 4 Bank Stocks Could Lead The Entire Market Higher [View article]
Ok, here's the funny part to all of this. SS was funded when the people retiring now were working. What happened to that money? That's the kicker. If the gov't didn't spend the money that our retiring workers put in, then we wouldn't need to force current workers into the same program. I would much rather all of my SS dollars went into a 30 year CD at 3% than what the gov't is doing with it.

Didn't the gov't just raise taxes last month? I think taxes will go up again shortly as more and more information comes out about the affordable care act. It seems like that bill is full of surprises.

  • Why Cimatron Group Is A Stock To Own Now, Before February Earnings [View article]
I think, based on my reading, that it is very relevant and that 3D printing is legitimate. Take a look at DDD and SSYS to research 3D printing. Dassault Systemes is another 3D company as well. The stock for DDD has more than doubled in 2012. I wanted to buy, but I didn't start investing until mid 2012 and I decided to by 100 shares NOK for $3 rather than 10 shares of 3D for $10

Cimatron does have the software for 3d printers that companies are using. So, it is a correct statement to say they are not a 3d printer company, however they do support and benefit from the 3d printing industry.

I also own ARR and FSC. I'm down in price on FSC, but have recouped the loss with the dividend payment. I just recently purchased ARR at $6.92. I'm looking to add to ARR in the near future and am considering NYMT

Have you done any research on Cimatron itself? I looked at all three of the companies listed above and felt like Cimatron was the only one worth the risk. They actually are a relatively low risk stock with a buy rating attached.

I think Cimatron is going to do well, along with the 3d printing industry. I'm not expecting it to go up to $100 a share, but I think the $8 range is reasonable and the $6 range will be a low base. Since it also pays a nice dividend, I think this is one worth keeping.

What do others think? am I far off?

I read this and purchased CIMT at 5.15. Today it closed at 6.47. Where will it level off and what is the target price of this stock?

By the way, I did read other material on this company including the information on the website prior to the purchase. However, this article was definitely the catalyst for doing immediate research. Thanks and if I make a billion dollars I'll be sure to cut you in 10%

  • Call Me Crazy, But I Think Chesapeake Energy Has Turned Over A New Leaf [View article]
The current administration (and past) idea of subsidies is merely to hand out billions to pet projects and let the CEOs run the business into the ground and keep hundreds of millions of dollars for themselves. Take a look at Solyndra and other solar companies that got government money and failed. They had horrible, horrible business plans. I simply don't care about the politics of this so much as the taxpayers dollars going down the toilet while fed spending is going up. Our country has a huge deficit and a huge spending problem. If we can't agree about the deficit and spending problem, then there is no possible way a substantive conversation can be had.

I'm all in favor of Natural Gas vehicles. GE just invested in Clean Energy to build an natural gas highway while Westport and Cummins are putting natural gas engines in long haul trucks. However, I don't believe we need to put additonal obstacles or burdens on the oil and gas industry. The alternative energy infrastructure must be in place allowing consumers to choose their preferred source of energy. The problem I have with the green zealots is that they want to shut down current energy before an alternative is in place.

Coal provides most of the electrical power in the country and wasn't it Obama himself who touted clean coal in 2008? I forgot, you liberals are hypocrites with double standards.

I guess they forgot about back up generators? Dear lord, data centers around the country have double redundancy for power failure issues.

Buffet and Bezos take 100k in salary and then get millions of dollars in assets. This is why they are all in favor of increasing the income tax. When you increase the income tax, it doesn't take into account your assets, in which case, Buffet and Bezos are completely unaffected.
