Having actually been in Potosi and walked inside the mountain this is quite fascinating. The town that for several hundreds of years was quite a big thing because of the precious metal is more or less stricken by poverty today. But still they mine that mountain, not so much for silver anymore thou. Like so many other silver mines it is mostly gone.
I am bullish for silver in the next years. I don't think we will find silver in the quantities needed to suppress the price for long.

Since this article fits my general thinking exactly (I'm a reluctant short term bull, long term bear) I love it. But besides that I think you are right again (made alot of money on your prediction about the fate of the USD some weeks ago).
Very good article. I'm still a bear but this was well written and researched. The problem I see is that the current prices are inflated by the actions taken by the US Government (changing accounting rules, buying "toxic" assets and hindering bankruptcy of auto makers to name a few) and I think this will dawn on the general populace soon enough (of course the Fed and the financial elite at Wall Street already know).

Excellent stuff. I'm on board, bought SKF yesterday and sold today at +18%. I'm in again tomorrow if the trend continues. It will be very interesting to see the house of cards collapse, again...

The sad part is that even thou I think you are correct, your government will try to prevent these banks to fall to any cost for the taxpayers. This makes me weary about shorting the financials, I hate government interference, it's so unpredictable.
As a Swede perhaps I'm partial and shouldn't comment, but I believe this analysis is correct. One thing to add is the USD/SEK currency ratio that is going "the right way", for a Swede at least. It should be pointed out that the OMX usually follow the Dow and other US indices, so be prepared for a downfall if the current rally stagnates.
There's not many fjords here by the way, that's Norway's signum.
