A professional geologist by training and more specifically an oil & gas development geologist with expertise in advanced recoveries in both natural gas and oil reservoirs. I have developed light and heavy oil pools in both carbonate and clastic reservoirs, and currently lead a Western Canadian company which is developing a significant low cost gas resource play.

My interests lie in macro economics specifically in how they relate to the oil & gas industry, and global foreign exchange. I do not invest outside the oil and gas industry, nor do I tend to buy public stocks of any kind.

I am an experienced currency & commodity trader though have taken a hiatus from trading since 2007.
