  • Analyst downgrades MannKind on lackluster prospects for Afrezza  [View news story]
Don't follow the herd? The herd thinks MNKD is going to be a 25 to 50 dollar stock.

  • 3D Systems: Are We Closer To A Bottom?  [View article]
THe momentum ended over a year ago. I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole now with guidance being removed. I'll continue to let this play out until we see better results. This new world economy is going to be volatile, DDD may need to hire better competency if they don't have an idea on guidance.

  • 3D Systems Continues To Disappoint  [View article]
I've briefly scanned 3d stocks the last couple years, it's fascinating watching them go from momo stocks to dead stocks. I do think 3d stocks have a great future in front of them but I will continue to watch for now. Bill I was wondering if you could explain how low oil prices is negative for 3d printing stocks? I've had issues wrapping that around my head. Thanks

  • Update: Ditch Vringo On This Pop  [View article]
If VRNG is doing a reverse split to stay listed then the writing is on the wall that they have no other options to increase their value. A reverse split, a majority of the time, is bad news. The cognitive bias on this stock is baffling, Mr Berger and Kevin seem to be the only rational ones.

I'm still just watching this stock, but I don't fully understand how cheaper oil prices is bad for 3d printing stocks. Anyone care to explain? Thanks

  • SDRL Out 10.87 Good Gain  [View instapost]
Alot of nothing said here. Fundamentals are still playing out in the oil supply and the storage manipulation. Any volatility is from the big boys speculating and any capitulation to the weak hands who bought early for dividends and decided to dump it from terrible entries. Technically it was a great trade, and many more to come in the oil patch for technical trades.

BCYP! I completely forgot about it. My attention to investing has declined over the last few years. I'm going to have to wait until something happens with WDDD to start speculating with BCYP. Who doesn't love binary events?

  • EnteroMedics - Do Not Expect Delisting  [View article]
The problem with diets is it needs to be a lifestyle change. Limiting food sources is completely inept and in the long run causes further problems of ballooning back and possibly more weight gain than the original weight. Isn't ETRM only for very high BMI's where the diet and exercise did not work? It will be a niche product and there is nothing wrong with that. What would be additionally interesting is if ETRM can push further into manipulation of the vagus nerve for other solutions. Many companies are pushing different therapies using the vagus nerve, while right now they be small, such as tinnitus, which runs through my family the potential is high but I don't find that a reason to bet the house. We have a ways to go on etrm.

  • New Patent Legislation: Impacts On Publicly-Traded Patent Investments  [View article]
Rick, speaking of Obama, when I go in and out by Lake Washington the roads have been shutdown in the past, more than a few times, due to Obama having get togethers at some of these mansions for "donations". Don't know exactly what they are for, has nothing to do with elections, and not directly at Bill Gates' house but I wouldn't be surprised if this is all connected. I would love to be a fly on the wall to see what these "get togethers" are all about. But anyone with a working brain knows things like this have been going on for ages. I'll have to pull an Arnold Schwarzenegger in True Lies and learn the tango.

  • One Internist's Glance At MannKind's Afrezza  [View article]
Braxton, you shouldn't take this article with an objective stance. Doc has made it quite clear he/she is conservative and will not think outside of the box. That's fine. I do not think Afrezza is the homerun that many long biases believe but on the other hand it is quite obvious Doc does not like any uncertainty whatsoever. He/she flat out says it is a personal experience. The bias Doc has, it doesn't matter how prudent and logical he/she is but what the patient wants and demands. All these silly articles and comments, there really isn't much to say until two quarters from now.

  • SDRL Buy 9.84  [View instapost]
KP are you trading or investing here? ESV and SDRL are entering interesting areas where I'm thinking of initiating positions. I'm still concerned on the unexpected prices of oil, especially since the SEC allows 95 oil to be used to evaluate reserves. Thanks!

  • McDonald's Is On The Sell Clock  [View article]
Portion sizes did up the ante decades ago. Corps know how to blend the salt, fat, sugar to make addiction more prevalent. It works best when the kids start off young. Lab studies have shown that rats were more addicted to sugar than cocaine. There is a reason the sugar industry made sure WHO did not suggest a daily intake of sugar. The FDA said fat was bad decades ago, and copious amounts of sugar were added to gain back the flavor. The disconnect is fascinating because they say it is up to the parents and the individual... well in comparison, the healthier choices are exiguous.
