  • Vringo: PTO Ruling Significantly Undervalued [View article]
Hello Mcfly. There is no reason for the stock to have a huge reaction to this. While it is great news for further down the road, VRNG is still waiting on plenty of pieces especially what route JJ is going. Pretty simple....

  • Is This The Google "Workaround"? [View instapost]
To cover all their bases. People still seem to believe, that providing a "workaround" admits guilt. The jury already said Google infringed. Whether they win appeals or not, this supposed workaround would reduce any royalty payments further. It's no different than why they will take this case as far as possible. To prevent other companies to do the same thing. How much is that worth? That is a subjective viewpoint. Only Google truly knows what they are willing to spend, to go to the ends of the earth to stop patent trolls. The ludicrous part is Google is a troll themselves.

  • This Insider Just Bought A Bunch Of Vringo Shares, Should You? [View article]
What is really "more". I am with mathengine on this. But how do you calculate the worth of deterring other companies to sue google? I am sure they have some type of equation. Even if they decided to settle they would have to do it before that is their last option, unless VRNG really wanted a discounted cash settlement upfront. It is still way too early in the ball game to see any settlement and I truly believe a buy out will never happen.

  • Vringo Vs. Google: Ongoing Royalty Prediction [View article]
Dan is great for extrapolating case law and helping us with understanding the underlinings of a current case such as this one with possible LEGAL outcomes. Fundamentally valuing a stock.... not so much.

  • Vringo: Where's The Money? [View article]
Clider I am right there with you. It is getting old and starting to get to the point of not dignifying "it" in the first place. This may be an indication that every event on VRNG is going to lead to more ingeminated summations of VRNG's story with an urge to admonish the investor of the lack of income generated. This is already very well known.

  • Microsoft Settles With Vringo: Is Microsoft Using Vringo In A Proxy War Against Google? [View article]
Am I the only neutral one on this? I didn't expect a settlement and its pretty weak anyways. The positive is less litigation costs now. Other than that we are going to have people extrapolate their pontifications good and bad. MSFT is done now, no more. Its all about what JJ does and then after that how the dominos fall in uspto appeals and case appeals.

  • Thoughts On Vringo's Response In Support Of Its Motion For Ongoing Royalties [View article]
Shorts are normally more sophisticated. Your gains are limited unlike being long. Isn't 20 percent or less of the market created from shorts? They look for the violent swings down. Make the big bux. I have come across an investor who spends 60 hours a week on DD. For example, He shorted GMCR from 105 to 30, He shorted CMG from 400 to 300, all DITM options. He is only 1 of 2 people I have come across on the yahoo boards I have ever found helpful. He posts in real time. I know I am just babbling but trying to portray that shorts usually have more homework to do.

  • Can Judge Jackson Impose An Injunction Against Google's Unconfirmed Workaround? [View article]
I may not have an MBA but when I went for my Finance degree, Business Ethics was an ELECTIVE. Ridiculous, and this wasn't that long ago.

  • How Will Judge Jackson Handle Google's Confirmed Workaround?‎ [View article]
Hey I am all for VRNG, but what is stopping the gewgs from posting bond. Peeps say its impossible for USPTO appeal process to finish before the appeal on the this case. Doesn't it really depend what actions JJ takes to decide whether this "workaround" is real? The gewgs will take any delay they can get. More delays equals better chance of USPTO appeals to finish before this case plus appeals will ever finish.

  • Google Cannot Penetrate Vringo's 7th Amendment Armor [View article]
Jheckert, for how cynical and conspiratorial that sounds, many will dismiss it. This is a statist run country and the "oligarchy" has always favored the rich. It has happened in the past, with VRNG though? Who knows.... Pick up Friendly Fascism, came out in 1982.

  • Vringo: '420 Patent Re-Examination And Confusion [View article]
killinme if you want objective reading, read every comment by marpha. KP is the permabull and confident in his DD, I assume he is or was a lawyer. I would like to hear his thoughts on JJ doing a possible "stay". From what I have read, I am no lawyer, a stay is possible but for litigation purposes in this case I have no clue how obtuse that idea is or the possibilities for that matter. In addition killinme, you shouldnt have an issue with Grunewald, he brings supporting cases into his ideas, whether he practices law or not, I commend him for that. Your issue at hand should be the ease of anyone person writing an article for SA which provides cracks in the integrity of this website in general.

Markman is right. Claims were rejected, but it is irrelevant as only 1 claim is needed. VRNG is good to go
